Don't care if he hit the game winner 8 TO's is way too much. I had flashbacks to Jamal this game.

Stop the madness.

Lin is good and he is ours.

All ours

I dont give a **** how feel good he is. I want to go deep in the playoffs. You forget we were playing the Raptors minus Bargnani.

Lin can get to rim and get to the line and I love it. I wouldnt trade him and stated he was a keeper. With that said he had 8 TO's, played some lazy defense on Calderon, and forced shots. But yea lets forget all that because he made the game winner.

Cmon son

Jose Calderon is averaging 10 points a game this season. Jose abused Derek Fisher for 30 then abuses Lin for 25. Raptors are garbage.

Shumpert gets put on Calderon and we see the real Calderon.

Cant let scrubs get going like that. Melo or no Melo if we had stopped Calderon this would have been a blowout in the Knicks favor.

Who Cares. We won a tough road game against a team that just lost to the Lakers by 1. This is the NBA. On any given night you can play a team that brings their A game. All that matters are wins. We've had plenty of games like this over the years that we fall short and have to convince ourselves on moral victories. We kept close then beat them at End. The elite teams win plenty of games like this throughout the season against so called scrub teams. Knicks fans of all people should know this.

WOW

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Lin is MVP for this team for the simple fact that NO ONE else gets double teams because teams gameplan to stop Lin. STAT all night got no double teams, if Melo gets that he can throw up 30pts in his sleep.

Seriously if you have to trap or double Lin to contain his penetration, then your just going to make it easy for us if he can break that trap.

Second game in a row we had no business winning. I like it.

But seriously, that was a bad last play. Lucky it went in and everything, but run the clock down, make no pass or penetration and hoist up a three? Not good.

why? that's the shot the defense was giving him. if he drove, you better believe a double team was coming and they'd force him to pass.

Well at the same time they gave him the space...that is the play your supposed to make. Plus I love the confidence he has to take that shot without hesitating. A lot of players in the NBA its hot potato....

So he passes to an open man. Which is what you want a point guard to do in that situation.

Happy we got the win, obviously, but don't want to see that kind of play becoming the norm.

Lin was open the moment Calderon retreated a half step.

He took exactly what the defense gave him.

That was the correct play, if you have no fear.

Ninja.

The best part was the assassin expression on Lin's face after the shot dropped.

How about the play to tie it he pump faked and drove hard to the rim for the and 1. Don't you think the opposing coach would make adjustment to negate that. Add to that he got a clean shot. How many times have knicks drawn a play up with multiple passes and we get an ugly shot. That was a calm collected play to win game. It was tied. Not like we were down. And that was not luck. He took the shot he wanted to take and that's all u can ask for.

yes, it would be awful if our leading scorer and hottest shooter continued to take a basically wide open last shot in close games.

wait, what?

how many knicks games through the years have our guards tried to drive in that situation and turned it over?

i disagree - that was a good shot. felton hit a similar one against the bobcats last year. they were playing the drive, giving him space to shoot. so he shot. that's exactly what you want.

i grant you it'd be different if they were down 1 or 2 there. then i feel like you should drive to tie it.

+1 Lin had the look and the clock was about to expire. Its what you want your PG to do in crunch time.

OK, suppose he hadn't made it. What would you think of the play then?

For me, our recent success has been predicated on ball movement. This was the antithesis of that.
