One turnover

Doctor Jeremy had 19 points 13 Assists and 4 rebounds in 33 minutes.

The number one selection in the 2011 NBA draft had 22 pts 7 assists and 3 rebounds

You do the math.

Lin easily could've had 5 more assists if they hit more shots. This kid is gonna have a 20 assist game at some point. Lin is playing with a great sense of pace and should only get better. His scoring is legit and was very much underrated by the naysayers in the media.

agreed. baron had 8assists, too. so that's 21 assists from the PG spot. not bad.

Video on NBA.com about Lin's numbers, vs his draft class with some tibits by Morey

CoolColJ - Lin is the real deal. Unfortunately, basketball is a very personal game. It is a game of individual matchups and individuals like Deron Wiliams, Rajon Rondo, Jason Kidd and Tony Parker take the extra publicity surrounding Lin very personal.

Among Lin's best assets is his toughness. Dude gets knocked to the floor as much as DWade.

Forget the scoring and assists. Forget his draft class. Jeremy's defensive chops will continue to be tested against the fiercest guards in the league.

Nailed it

(As giddy as Linsanity was, the Knicks won most of those games because of the defensive dominance of Jared Jeffries, Tyson Chandler, and Iman Shumpert.)

Everybody's got a little more pep in their step; as Jeremy Lin (who is starting to look terrific again)

DWill is going to get clowned on when Lin returns for his revenge. You heard it here first. Nets won't be dripping 3's like they did because Knicks are going to put a cork in the faucet. DWill is a crybaby. Getting all up and arms about a rookie. He'll get his just desert.

Everyone, Even Howard Beck, Got It Wrong This Time

March 16, 2012

“(Woodson's) best players get the most shots,” the former associate said. “Melo’s going to love it. Amar’e’s going to love it. And the other 12 guys are not going to like it so much.”

Lin could lose the starting job to Baron Davis, a seasoned former All-Star who is bigger, stronger and a better defender. Toney Douglas, whose strength is his defense, could get another look under Woodson, after being benched by D’Antoni. Mike Bibby, who played for Woodson in Atlanta, could also win a greater role.

Yet with D’Antoni gone and Anthony back in the forefront, Lin may never get the same opportunities to shine. The Knicks have no room for error, nor does Woodson, who is coaching for a contract and the permanent job.

Lin is auditioning too, for the entire league, as a free-agent-to-be. A few weeks ago, it seemed a certainty that the Knicks would re-sign him, even if they had to use their entire midlevel exception. But D’Antoni is gone, the offense is changing and everyone has an interim title. A new coach and general manager could decide to spend the money elsewhere.

Lin has crushed conventional wisdom before. He may do it again. But in the Knicks’ twisted universe, there are no certainties and, for now, no room for Linsanity. - Howard Beck

Yeah, right.

No room for Linsanity indeed.

Just win baby.

And so much for Lin's number going down with Melo coming back. Lin is still Lin.

Who is the D-Leaguer? I wonder? I wonder who are all those loud mouths out there calling Lin a D-League player. Lin is clowning everyone who talks down on him including that ****ing ass named Stephen A. Smith.
