You gotta tip your hat to these guys. 1-0 with the new roster.

For Marbury's debut we lost by 40. A sign of things to come.

This debut was much better. I saw many positive signs tonight. We just need some more good pieces, especially a center.

Good win.

When was the last time the Knicks had a point guard as good as Billups?

We are watching History take place

Already miss Gallo but can't complain on what we got

Billups makes deal worth while

He raises the collective IQ of this team.

This was just his first night

Right off the plane

Hope we can add the last few pieces tomorrow

I can already tell that Chauncey is gonna be the factor that really makes this thing work in the short-term while Melo and Amar'e figure out how to play off each other on offense. He and Landry Fields are perfect complements because they can do a lot without the ball and are high basketball IQ players. This thing is gonna be real good when they get a big body who can rebound and when they click more on offense.

I loved both of those guys but I think Chauncey might be a bit better. I was a big Jackson fan when Doc came and a big Doc fan when Derek came so there was an adjustment period for me. I am on board with Chauncey right now. He is a huge upgrade.

Billups was excellent. The coolest foul shooter I have seen. 12 for 12 and 4 or 6 in the last minute.
Melo is the go to guy at the end of the game. He loves the pressure.
Douglas also played one of his best games of the year. Great offensive rebound near the end. He had adrenalin flowing. And 23 pts.

Great win to start off the "New Team".

Told y'all. But its just one game we will go through a phase when the team will look out of synch. But Billups is th ereal deal, there is no way around it. DA NIX ROC!
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Me too but considering what we just got in Melo and Billups, I can be patient.

We lost against the Rockets - badly. 40 points. Marbury was awful. I'm pretty sure he was scoreless.
