Well sure you can go there or we can try to have an intelligent conversation about the game...If you want to engage in the latter..I'll say he is better playing the role of a two guard than a point guard...Wouldn't you agree??...By the way he played the point tonight....Hughes brings up the ball as well, does this make him a point guard?...Lee plays center, Is he really a center?...

Im not calling the entire team losers...Im trying to show the logic of calling Nate a loser...

And you should be questioning those that call Nate a loser after he single handedly beat the Hawks....

Terrific game! How fun would a 7 game Knicks/Hawks series be in the first round?

Not much to say about either Nate or Wilson that hasn't been said. Both had incredible games out there.

Gallo was having an off game, then hits some clutch shots to help bring us back in the 4th. Just shows how important this guy is to keep him on the floor.

Lee looked awful tonight. I was hoping Hill would see some action once we saw the Nate/Landry sightings. Everyone's allowed an off game, especially with how well he's been playing. Looking forward to a strong performance vs. Indy.

I supported D'Antoni with his benching of Nate, and still do, but I am certainly glad to have the little guy back.

Who has won on this team?

Does not mean that certain players can't be winners under the right conditions.

Honestly, a foolish way of looking at a team and its players. Move certain guys to the Lakers, Celts, etc., and they become "winners??"

Is Ariza a "winner" now? Is Crawford? Frye?

You show your ignorance of the game (and sports in general) and what it takes to have a winning team when you make a statement like yours.

I think you are proving my point....

Just (get better) win baby

holfresh - its only semantics.

something fun about watching the Knicks play decisive basketball in the clutch, while the celebrated Hawks implode down the stretch with Johnson, Crawford, Smith, Horford and Williams.

Like MaTT said - imagine how much fun the defense-minded Knicks would have with nothing to lose in a first round playoff series

All those players were called losers while they were here as well...I don't think Lakers would have won it without the effort of Ariza last playoffs..and Yes he is a winner, have you seen Houston(20-13) lately??...Craw is helping his team win now....Frye is playing a role in PHX success knocking down threes...Put a player in the right role and yes he can be a winner...Put Nate in the role he played tonight and yes the Knicks too can win...Wait, did we win tonight???...Nate can help...Nate's success and the Knicks' success need not be two seperate goals...It's up to the coach to find a way to make the talent he has work for the ultimate success of the team...

No one calls him a loser, but he is and will always be a selfish player. Definitely fun to watch when he scores like that and the next time he has this type of impact on a game can 1/3/2010 or 1/5/2012 see the problem? He is low percentage option on a struggling team and no coach in their right mind should coach based on the low percentage players in the team.

Having said that, he didn't preen in front of the camera and didn't act like a diva today so he deserves props for that. Nice game lets just enjoy the win but no need to get carried away.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Pretty good stuff here, but why did it take you so long to express it in this way?

My ignorance comment was incorrect, it would seem, but I don't think you got your point across the way you really wanted to in your earlier posts, IMO.

Gallinari was definitely underwhelming this guy. Im starting to get annoyed with his love affair with shooting 3's.

Glad Chandler realized he isn't a shooting guard and stopped taking 3's. His fade away jumper is swishtastic.

what did you want gallanari to do? he played the perfect role of a 3rd option.. he went 3-4 from three tonight.. what do you want him to do? he took 4 threes and made 3 of them... how is that a love affair?

maybe I was watchinga different game.. but he went 4-6 from the field and 3-4 from three with 6 rebounds... what is off about that?

Loweye - when is it appropriate to get carried away?

Please don't say when a team wins a championship. It would seem that limiting good vibes to rare moments would only make one more bitter out of frustration

A loud ovation of appreciation would be fitting for Nate and the Knicks on Sunday

Only been home for a few weeks and got spoiled by some big games from the guy. Re-watching the game on NBATV right now. Off was the wrong word, he just had a quiet game early on.

tkf, you're from the Atlanta area aren't you? Did you make it to the game?

Gallo did what he had to do this game... Nate was dominating, there was no opportunity for Gallo to put up stats, but he hit the big shots he needed to make & played solid low post defense & ball denial on Al Horford down the stretch.

I am from the bronx NY, but I live in atlanta now(actually since the 90's)... but I didn't go to the game
I wish I had gone tho.. I was so tired from the past few days of having fun.. LOL.. plus my friend and I usually split up his season tickets, but we had another NY fan that wanted the tickets to take his brother to the game visiting from NY and paid a nice sum for the tickets.. my buddy said he would split the money with me, if I stayed home.. LOL. so you know what I did.. hahahaha.. I watched it from home in on my HD television..

i'm glad u took notice of Wilson's play tonight, he was phenomenal... 24 & 17 would have been the topic of all our threads on any other night but Nate was simply unbelievable... if D Lee put up that statline tonight we'd have threads calling for him to be signed to a max contract.
