This team isn't good enough to have Hill and Douglas recording DNP-CD. They should play.

I'm giving Mike D and the team the benifit of the doubt. Let's see what happens after 10 games. All I can say is that you can't have a run and gun system when all you have is runners and no gunners and one of you best 3 point go to guy is jefferies.

At least JJ is looking tradeable.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Bobcats narrowly missed out on the playoffs last year. Not sure why anyone would have thought we were a lock to beat them.

If you didn't see the game the score might make you think it was a defensive struggle. It really was an offensive struggle for the knicks who also struggled on defense except for flashes of intensity.

This team is not nearly as good as Charlotte's team last year. Ok4 --atleast to me is better than Chandler. Bell with have a bad wrist all year no matter what he does and he didnt play today. They don't look like they have the scoring ability to win 25 games to be honest. they are going to have trouble scoring the ball. teams will pack it in. Diaw looks fat.

Al Harrington said before the game that Charlotte was down and we would jump on them--I mean they scored 59 points their first game. To be down 21 to them --what can you say and when they let their guard down--we took the momentum--could have and shouldve won that game and just blew it. They couldnt score in the 4th or the first OT. We didnt have a stop at the right time and we couldnt hit a big shot that couldve sealed the deal. bad bad bad loss Charlotte could be the worst team in the league imho.

From where I'm sitting it's neck and neck and the Knicks with a real chance of beating them out for that bottom spot.

That was one of the toughest losses I've seen from this team and that is obviously saying a lot.

Our defense was much better in the 2nd half but we couldn't get stops when we needed them the most in Double OT. Those switches really kill us because David Lee and Al Harrington cannot guard guys like Raymond Felton and DJ Augustin and they shouldn't be asked to. Our perimeter D is still awful and that won't really improve until we get some new players...

What surprised me the most was D'Antoni's coaching. Typically I have no gripes with him at all because I think he is a very good coach but last night, I think he really lost a feel for the game. I know Gallo is a very good shooter but why the hell would you bring him in at the end of regulation to take a 3 pointer? First of all, he was sitting on the bench with those 5 fouls so he was obviously stiff. Second of all, why are we taking a 3 pointer when we only need one point to win? We were doing a good job of getting to the basket so I think a Duhon-Lee pick and roll would have been a better call than having a shooter come off the bench and take a 25 foot contested three....

Gallo was the guy that got us back into that game (along with Jeffries who luckily hit those 3s) and D'Antoni just left him on the bench in OT and for most of Double OT. Our offense was terrible in those overtime periods and Gallo would have helped a ton.

BTW, please ban Chandler from shooting 3s. He can't shoot a lick and shouldn't be chucking up shots at will. If he wants to go to the basket, that is fine, but he should not be taking 5 three pointers....

D'Antoni's system obviously increases the amount of possessions for both teams in a game. The problem is we aren't being efficient with our possessions because we don't have the shooters right now to take this many 3 pointers. The bigger problem is that the other team is taking advantage of those extra possessions and that is why we are falling behind by 30 points in the first half...

Harrington, Nate, and Gallo can shoot pretty well from 3 point land for the most part (Duhon was decent last year), but no one else should be chucking up shots on this team.

darko didn't play much probably because of his bruised knee.

we definitely could have used him, especially in the ot's.

Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

Dont get on the players MDA wants to switch every screen that is why you see Felton getting guarded by big men. I am so glad we drafted Hill instead of Jennings. jennings scored more points tonight then Lee will get for the month of November.

I am blaming Lee for not showing some defensive effort on that particular play, cause he absolutely ****ing sucked on that play. Watched the ****ing shot go up right in his grill. Gallo did what he should have. Lee did not.

The switching also sucks and is ridiculous. I don't know why they are doing it. Who cares about Jennings. Has nothing to do with Lee not playing D.

I remembered that play too. Gallinari had 5 fouls by that time, I think. Lee should have stepped up earlier and forced Graham to deal with his presence- it looked like he was going to do something for a second, and then he stepped back for some reason.

King1- guys get beat all the time in this league- the guy definitely got around Gallo on that play, but Lee was right there- he had to react aggressively, especially given the score and the time left. Fill in the spot, put one hand up, and have the other ready for Graham passing the ball to the man Lee just left. Maybe you even take a charge.
