Which I am. Just giving an example of what's been fun to me. And this isn't the "other games thread" it's the freaking Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and every other ex-Knicks player thread. Save the crap for the fans who can't read between the lines.

But yes, in regards to Houston and Denver? Not fun basketball for a fan such as myself.

They can not keep teams off the scoreboard. Denver's 26th and Houston's 29th out of 30 in points allowed. And both teams struggle protecting the basketball on a nightly basis. Denver's 25th and Houston's dead last at 30th in turnovers committed per game.

That may be "fun" basketball to you, but it's not to me.

Zero consideration of pace.

Denver is 15th in the league in turnovers per 100 possessions. Houston is understandably going to be turnover prone with their top 2 backcourt players being fairly new to their roles. Oh and young.

And if you value defense so much, what is so enjoyable about watching Melo?

Bazinga!

Houston giving McHale more ammo to bench Lin if they sign Brooks. Sad.

Lets not make up stories. Only Harden/Parsons average more minutes when compared to Jeremy Lin. Lin is getting 32.8 minutes per game. J.R Smith and Tyson Chandler both average 33 minutes per game. And we all know the head coaches control the rotation and/or minutes of these players. Lin's averaging 32.8 minutes only behind Durant and Parsons, so, let's not act as if McHale isn't giving Lin a chance. Let's stop acting like Lin's in the dog-house and/or being "ran out of town" due to the fact that a great basketball mind in McHale decides to coach Lin with a little tough love. Lin is a millionaire people. If Woodson can tell J.R to pick his pants up, then McHale can criticize his PG's play from time to time. That's basketball coaching. Every coach has their own personality. Lin thinking it's ok to have 39 points or 18 assists but yet... Turn the ball over 8-9 times is not acceptable basketball. Good for McHale for making Jeremy Lin aware of this. Should be thanking the man (Lin supporters) instead of having your feelings hurt that Jeremy Lin's being coached up.

Brooks as a sign of putting Lin on the bench? Funny...

Boston up 9 on Golden State, despite David Lee being back. 2/7, 6 points and 14 rebounds here in the 3rd for Lee. A stat complier. His production has just never, ever, translated into strong winning basketball.

Memphis misses gay. I wonder if hollinger follows Sheridan MVP rankings as much as other numbers.

On a site note, anyone think Denver (at home in Denver) has a chance against a true contender such as OKC? I know I don't.

We're about to see why Denver has zero chance of a great future, unless they add that true top 5-7 type of NBA star. Durant vs. Gallo at the SF position. Gallo literally stands zero chance to compete, let alone contain a Kevin Durant/LeBron James/Carmelo Anthony type of dominating SF.

My guess is this. Gallo doesn't score anything more than 13 points. No more than 6 rebounds. No more than 3 assists. Kevin Durant drops 32+ points, 5+ assists and a good 4-5 rebounds. The OKC Thunder due to star power, takes down Denver by 22+ points.

Why do I only use Gallo/Durant as examples out of all potential players in which could've been spoken about? Because without having a SF in which can at least compete with Durant; you have no chance whatsoever against OKC. That goes for San Antonio as well. Great regular season team, but come postseason play? No answer for Durant at the SF position. None. Trust me, I seen what Durant did to San Antonio during the Western Conference Finals last season. Great Spurs squad. No answer at the SF position for Durant. Then comes LeBron, stuck with Durant. Same goes for Melo, always competes against Durant. Gives you a fighting CHANCE to knock them off.

Long story short, watch what Durant does against Gallo tonight. You need that star SF who can compete against the elites, and Denver doesn't have that...

Looking like Brooklyn will lose to Dallas. Now we need Memphis to knock off Miami!

How many FT attempts do you think Lebron will in the 4th. With him struggling I can see him easily getting at least 8-10

I'm still confused as to why they traded him away. The Grizz as previously constructed could have beaten the Heat in the Finals. The Heat match up horribly against them and Gay gave them real offensive firepower. Alas...

Who knows, but it's nice to see LeBron human once again.

Could be a good night of Knicks basketball. A Miami loss could make it a great one. Knicks won and yes Indy won but Brooklyn just lost and the Suns are up 5 on ATL at the half.

Knicks win along with Miami, Atlanta and Brooklyn loses? Sign me up every night of the week.

Really couldn't care less if Boston won/lost tonight. Loss would've pushed them further back but as of right now we're 6.0 games ahead of Boston (without Rondo).

But a Knicks win along with Miami (1), ATL (4) and Brooklyn (5) losing? That's what I wanna see. Indy winning does become frustrating.

Anyone else get the feeling Breen is rooting for the Heat?
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I don't know about the Heat losing...they're still up on the Grizz. Battier is having a great night. Wade is Wade. Bron is making excellent passes despite the poor shooting. ZBo is having an off night. Gasol has been great.

Well Miami wins again.

Up to our Knicks to snap their 13 game win streak.
