Heartbreaker for the rockets. Tied game and Ellis threw a prayer from the next county falling away. Wow

Hey Boker how did Lin look? It seems like he has went back to shooting bad these pass few games judging from the box.

Shooting was off again. Controlled great pace again just setting up the offense. Picked the pocket of Jennings a few times. They can't stop him from getting into the paint but on kickouts parsons and Delfino not making their open looks. The last play was weird. Jennings had the ball and tried to get by Lin. Lin shuts him down and passes to Ellis who is 30 feet away and flings it for a prayer for the win.

Also, every time he went out the bucks got back. Offense looks horrible when he is out.

Lin took 2 3 pointers and missed both. He missed a couple of layups due to blocks from sanders. Sanders is a very good shot blocker. He blocked harden as well.

McHale lost this game. Bad subs and horrible game plan in the end. He has Parsons on Ellis at the end. Also, played small at end. They made stop but could not get the rebound.

looks like the Nuggets finally have a starting quality SF.

hopefully the knicks can follow their lead and get one as well..

Yeah - we should since our star is now playing PF

Gee Denver does not miss a beat last night - actually look much better. Iggy 14 points and 12 assists. We all know that he is the 3rd best player on that team.

Lawson
Faried
Iggy
Chandler (when healthy)
Gallo (when he is not 3-19)

we don't have a star.... stars don't whine waiting by the bus like a little girl.. we have an overpaid loser... a hot head, a mental midget.. plain and simple.... we have another version of marbury, except I actually enjoyed watching marbury play at times..

really gallo can be the 10th best player on denver.. doesn't matter.. that is your focus... at least they are not stuck with a loser.. to me that is the knicks problem.... An overpaid loser.. so while you focus on who is 1st, 2nd,3rd or 4th on denver, you should be upset that we have the #1 playoff loser of this era...

C'mon man, for the greater good why keep baiting?

i am not baiting, he wants to engage in this convo, I am not going to veil how I feel nalod... I will say it about any player I don't like, and I dislike carmelo more than any player in the history of sports.... at this point... maybe I have the myriad of obnoxious NY fans to thank for this, who knows.. there are certainly some good ny fans for sure, which is why I enjoy coming here, there are some good, honest and intelligent fans... but here and there you get the very same fans you try to avoid trying to engage you in this type of dialogue so, I won't hide how I feel.. I am very upfront...

I wills state how I feel and drop it.. the problem is.. most people who are so happy with this trade can't seem to let go of gallo, or lin, or chandler, or moz... they just can't.. check the threads.. there are plenty of examples.. this is called " other game threads" if you don't like people gushing about other teams and players, stay out.. If you don't like seeing beautiful half nude women, don't open the alba thread!

This is late response, but I don't think you should let some fans influence you to this degree, especially when it comes to your favorite team. I'm a Knicks fan who loves Melo. But I can see his flaws as a player quite clearly. I have no problem pointing them out. But at the same time, I root for him bc he IS a Knick & our central talent. I also love Gallo still & Lee, I appreciate their talent. I'm not a big Lin fan anymore, I lost attachment to him when he left. But I did celebrate him when he was here & I wanted the Knicks to keep him. I love Harden & think the Rockets are a terrific squad. I would hope that even if someone totally disagrees with me, we can still be cool & have a good debate. I just want you to know there are ppl out there like me. Just looking for a good sports convo. And, btw, I friggin can't stand Howard. Don't want him near the Rockets or any team I admire.

This is kind of a ramble, but I hate the separate factions on this board. We should all be able to share thoughts w/o so much animosity.

Great game by Denver. Lillard didn't look to play that well in my DVR speed watching mode. Denver play speeds teams up but when they are patient they score really easy on Denver. Teams should not try to always fastbreak with Denver but slow it down.

I wonder how Denver will play against a zone. It might be hard for teams to stop Denver from throwing lobs to Faried and McGee against a zone though.

I think the biggest problem teams will have with denver is the absolute blazing speed of lawson.. dude is running down your back before you know it..... almost impossible to stop... puts so much pressure on the defense.. I mean even on makes, he is pushing the ball back before defense can set up.. it is nuts with this guy.. LOL

Yup. Denver and Houston play the same exact way. Except, Denver has more shot blockers and generate their fastbreaks on blocked shots, rebounds off missed and made baskets. Houston fastbreaks off steals, rebounds off missed and made baskets

Denver wins against a decent portland team on the road.

For at team that struggles on the road its a good win. You don't win all of them on the road even against crap teams.

Iggy had a great game and the only one of two who played over 30 min! Lawson played 37 min.

Amazing how they spread out their minutes. Moz not in the rotation last nite.

Not sure how it plays out for them this season but their depth is impressive. Gallo again sat out. No stars and on any nite they have a multitude of players that can step up.

This btw has nothing to do with Melo.

I feel bad for Mozzy. He is behind Koufos and McGee. I wish they would trade him back to NY.

Lillard was great yesterday. He hit big shot after big shot...He did have a tough time containing Lawson but not many have the past dozen games or so.

Lillard is going to be a beast. Really wonder who is going to be better...Irving or Lillard?

yea, both teams run off turnovers, one thing denver has is a bit more experience...

Yup. Denver has a better backup PG in Andre Miller and deeper at SG as well. Let's do a comparison...

PG - Lin v Lawson - even
SG - Harden v Iggy - Harden
SF - Parsons v Gallo - Gallo
PF - Montijunas v Farried - Farried
C - Asik v Koufos - even

Bench - (Robinson, Smith, Delfino, Beverley, Anderson, Garcia, Jones) v (Miller, Wilson, McGee, Moz, Randolph, Brewer) - Nuggets

Coach - McHale v Karl - Karl

Looking at this I would say Denver is a little better, but I like the Rockets a little better because of what Harden brings.

I am a huge lin fan, believe me, I am.. Not sure if he and lawson are even.. have to give the edge to lawson at this point.. although, I do think can one day be as good if not surpass lawson..I do think lin can run an offense better, is a better passer, but lawson is the better finisher/ shooter..

Asik is also better than koufos.... the key with denver is when they get production out of Mcgee, that guy can be a doofus.. LOL, but can also be a game changer... I really don't have problems with your other comparisons..
