Didnt Miami destroy them last year in the playoffs? That's what I thought.

Next to Lebron and a healthy D-Wade they have probably the best 2-way player in the game

I think Indy can beat miami, or has the best chance of any team in the east.

No one is beating Miami.

Everyone else is playing since you have to put two teams on the floor.

Side note: I dont know what on earth Durant was thinking letting lebron train with him....now dude is shooting lights out from all over the floor.

All time idiotic move for a competitor.

Indy looks great. They have a lot of tall athletic players. Reminds me a little of the old Pacers team back in the Rik Smits days with the Davis boys.

Question: Did Donnie assemble this or was it done already when he came back?

The ebb and flow. Miami is on its mission of destruction. When we beat them earlier they were not in thie mode, and we were on our own mission at that time.

Why this happens? Ebb and flow of a long season. We a good team and anything is possible so IM not writing anyone off but the reality is its been a while since we were the team that went 18-6.

Lebron has taken it to a new level again. Lets see if he can win another if his superfriends are up to the task.

Looking really good for Miami. They did all this with one of the tougher schedules in the 1st half. They now have the weakest remaining schedule. I would not be surprised if they only lose 3 more going forward and giving them 65 wins for the season. ***I have my jinx switch on***

good question, I know some of that talent was there, but he was instrumental in helping fill out the rest of this current roster...

The core of that team was put together by Bird(he drafted (2008)Hibbert/(2009)Hansbrough/(2010)George/(2010)Stephenson, signed David West as a Free agent and traded for George Hill) but this off-season Walsh made probably his best move in some time since being an exec

He hired Kevin Pritchard as GM predecessor to Bird....who then signed and/or traded for Gerald Green/D.J. Augustin/Mahimi/Young

Walsh drafted Granger although Bird was in his GM role then too

It's very important who you hire when making decisions to build a team going forward or taking it to another level

But Gerald Green, DJ Augstin and Mahimi have been pretty poor this season- don't think Walsch can really be credited with their success.

It happened in another thread. Walsh was hired two days before the draft. Give him credit for drafting Plumlee and not rocking the boat.

Why sure he can I mean Knick fans have been crediting Grunny all year for the signings of

Sheed(crippled infirmary almost all year)

Kidd(relapsed and near cometic)

Brewer(garbage to garbage disposal)

James (Denzel Washington No Plane Landing All-Star Dunkout Nightmare Flight) White

Copeland (just tryin to Cope with Hope of playin again)

Prigoni (Souped Up Sergio Rodriguez except no Noodles)

Novak (Nate's Got Him Working Corners At Night)

Meanwhile with Pritch signing those guys in Indy, they'e managed to grab the 2nd best record in the East with respectable contributions from such players..... while their 2nd or 3rd best player had been injured all year up to this point.
