Tatum was like a prize fighter matching us punch for punch. He made some absurd shots against great defense. Feel bad for him for sure on a fluke play.

Knicks have to be commended for a truly brilliant performance. Brunson, Bridges, Anunoby all just making huge shots down the stretch.

We saw OG icing his hammy amd thought we might be done.

What a great crowd and atmosphere especially in the 2nd half/3rd q when the Knicks really came together

Also how damn reliable has OG become on hitting big 3s? Had some huge ones tonight. And dude is cool as a cucumber as he drills them in pressure moments.

Other than JB, OG is the only other Knick I trust for big 3s.

Knicks played w a lot of heart. Mikal was crucial as was KAT w interior presence and less sucky on D. Mitch was doing his thing and OG was better than last game. JB was grea

We won 5 on 6. Refs sucked. Celts had close to 3 times as many FT despite having half as many points in the paint and generally living on perimeter. Really glad we stayed relatively composed despite the bad whistles. We should still send a tape to the league and S Foster needs to retire and the other two clowns should be fired.

Tatum 100% has an Achilles tear. Someone said you can walk off w those, no you can’t. You’re confusing w something else like a strain

Not sure if anyone saw hart console Tatum as he was headed off the court. Very classy

Lastly bunch of chicken littles in this thread. C’mon guys let’s cheer them on when they’re down. Only cheering after the voctory is for sissies

Sorry. But seriously. I was too consumed w game to post during game and only looked afterwards. There are very few posts urging team Tom fight or expressing confidence we’ll get back in it and gut it out. Lots of gloom

We need to snap out of that. Our guys have resolve more so than prior years

Great game. Quieter than the Cleveland series’ in past years. Was real quiet down 14. But this team sticks around. Sad for Tatum. Knicks booed his every move. Except when he went down. Got solid applause headed off the court. Not looking past this Celtics team though. Even without a man down. Gotta finish strong.
