4 out of 5 dentists recommend “Trident” gum for their patients. This is an old line from their commercials going back in time. Running joke is “What is the problem with the one dude that does not recommend it?”. What was the size of the sample? Just 5? Or was it larger and Madison Ave had to dumb it down to simple numbers? Add Jerry Seinfelds voice to this small bit and maybe im plagerizing. I’ll get to the point:
Numbers can be funny, Maybe saying 8 out of 10 does not sound good, lays more doubt? Or, claiming 80% is not so absolute? Did we even discuss the quality of the dentists surveyed? We talking top of the class folk? Good schools? Are they even certified dentists? Can I say “Im a Dentist”? Maybe I don’t do that. “Trident” is a sugar free gum. Sugar is evil and crates cavities. Maybe not, can’t trust anyone now. 9 out of 10 GM’s would still take Zion over Ja Morant. The one outlier admits ownership would have over ruled him. Nalod will beat this drum over and over to prove a point: Owners matter in basketall decisions. GMs get fired for it often. So do coaches. You can’t fire owners unless they are evil and as bad as many have been only Sterling got booted. His penalty was paying taxes on the profit. Owners have to pander to the fan base. Dolan hired and fired GM’s/Presidents to placate the angry mob that was knick fans calling for him to sell the team. Owner decides on direction of the team. Zion was a marketing juggernaut and potential franchise/league transformative player NBA has not seen since Lebron came into the league. We have discussed this before and how tough it would be to have traded down for the pick. Im sure he and his family understands the media outcry for his weight. Any of you struggle with weight? They fry everything, even the butter. Would be a horrible waste of a possible generational talent. As a basketball fan, I sure hope Zion gets it together. |
