He also seems to have a pretty decent assist rate the last couple of years. He has really tried to round out his game.

This is weird coming from 2 ppl who hated Rose when he was here, wanted no parts of him, and were OK with Jack running the point( i blame him for frank), who is currently in the G league

Rose has never been a selfish player, has always been a solid teammate. He said he didn't feel the need to shoot 3's before, but the league has changed and he needed to make a change.

Idk if many ppl know this but Rose is on a Permanent Minutes restriction and won't be playing beyond 23 to 25 minutes.

If you cant tell the difference between Rose now and Rose with the Melo/KP/Horneck Knicks you are really lost man.

Also literally Rose himself said last time he was here he was stubborn, didnt listen to the coach and wanted to do it HIS way. So the bold is utterly UNTRUE and confirmed by Rose himself. So yes, I didnt like Rose here last time for those really obvious reasons. He's actually a better player now that he's willing to play a role AND he's become a much better shooter going from zero threat from 3 to being a serviceable shooter.

So its only weird to you, because you don't generally pay attention or notice anything that is actually happening

But I told you all of this back then, I told you the culture and the Vibe around the knicks wasn't right, nobody gave a rats ass about playing in the triangle, Not Rose, Not melo, Not Afflalo, KP skipping out on exit meetings, melo requesting a trade, noah partying like it's 1999.

The key point was he wanted to be here when nobody else did.

who did? Rose? That is your key point? The guy cried when he got traded here. He was heart broken being traded from Chi, didnt want to be here and literally had a breakdown where he went home to Chi to hang with his mom while he contemplated quitting basketball. Good "key point" dude

NEW YORK -- Derrick Rose hopes that his decision to leave the New York Knicks on Monday without initial explanation doesn't impact how the club views him in free agency this summer.

Rose said Thursday, before the Knicks' game against his ex-team, the Chicago Bulls, that he continues to hope to remain in New York beyond this season.

Who's the one making up Sht now, he even said in his recent comments that he was depressed about how that season was going and needed time around his family

"When I left the Knicks that day in January 2017, that's what it was about," Rose wrote. "I just needed to go home. I went to the crib with my mom. Everybody came over to the house to talk. That's the first time, one of the few times, where we sat down as a whole family and had a serious discussion like that.

"I had decided I was done playing. I saw the same thing that was happening with the Bulls was going on with New York. I could tell that the season wasn't going to be the season everyone thought, that I thought. I didn't know if I wanted to hoop anymore. Especially when it started to feel like a business. Of course, you know it's a business. They always say that. But you know it's also hoopin'. But it had started to feel like all business, no joy. That's when I wanted out. I wasn't having fun."

This last Quote is all i kept saying about Mills, and that all he cared about was having a all black FO, and that President Title, and hired a bunch of "YESSS Boss men" that why NO TOP FA fck with them, because word already was out on them, everybody Knew Mills Was a fraud

Rose's thoughts on Steve Mills are less glowing.

"Steve Mills is talking all this black dude stuff with me, like we're brothers and all this," Rose wrote. "He's saying that s--t, making me think it's going to make us closer. Come on, be yourself."

"I loved New York," Rose wrote. "We were losing but I felt I was playing great. I felt like they still could have built something - or attempted to. They got rid of me but I definitely wanted to stay there.

You hit the nail on the head. These are the exact reasons i didn't like Rose last time and am more receptive to him this time around.

thats it man... last time we were getting a guy who thought himself a top NBA player and for it to work we needed him to be a superstar. Not to mention the off the court stuff and he did NOT want to be traded. This time we are getting a more mature guy, coming into a totally different situation with different people and he's here to play a role and wants to be here.

Rose has been great. He's really made the team better and I think his coming also showed us something about Thibs.

Thibs benched Rivers for Rose right out of the gate which was deserved. Rivers had had about 5 straight pretty lame games. After inserting Rose he let things shake out, and we Quickley saw that Rose was the best PG on the team, we played better with him running the show and he was here to be a team guy.

Yup. Now just make sure Basura Payton is glued to the bench.
