Wait till the playoffs.

Game 1 last year against the Heat was one of the worst officiated games I have ever seen.

Ohh my I remember that!! I know fans feel weak when they use the "refs against us" card but sometimes it really seems they have an agenda.

I couldn't help but Youtube search about this and found this little piece of gold.

No matter how good the Heat are supposed to be as a team and no matter how great LeBron may be, I simply cannot respect them. That championship is as tainted as their flops.

mad that we lost the game against the Bulls, even more because it is the Bulls but the Knicks played hard and very shorthanded (more so than the Bulls if some will say that this is an excuse) and just fall short, so i can be proud of the team, can't win every time ... getting healthy is the keyword for a nice playoffs run ...

13-34 is terrible considering he only scored 36 points.

LOL at JR Smith taking 27 shots to score 28 points. .

Oh well on to the next.

i did not see the game except for two minutes but this statement is sheer nonsense.

judging from the box score i can see that the bulls' defense was such that it forced a chuckage and suckage from anthony and smith. felton took too many shots too.

the main takeaway from the advanced statistics is that the bulls succeeded in stifling the knicks' ball movement. you can tell from the ratio of usage to assist rate. melo's was a ridiculous reversion to "bad melo" where the ratio is 39.3:8.8 which reduces to 4.47:1 and that's with an abominable 46.9TS%. this means he did not move the ball and was forced into taking too many shots, bad shots.

you can't win ballgames against good defenses unless you stay disciplined and keep the ball moving ahead of the defenders.

tkf mentioned that the thing that concerns him most about the knicks is that the celtics have one thing the knicks don't: POISE.

at this point it is folly to claim that "the knicks are heavily reliant on melo" since it is clear that he actually brings this situation on himself. bryant has manifested the same tendencies against good defenses plenty of times.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Watched a good amount of the game and this is my impression. Chicago is a bad matchup for the Knicks. They have too many long very good defenders that affect Melo. Next time they play, ball movement needs to happen. The second Melo gets double teamed he needs to swing it out and the open man needs to hit that shot. Felton also needs to play under control. He does not do well when he pushes.

LOL. Why bother posting?

Dude you never post after a win. Coincidence? I think not.

Smith and Melo played like trash and the game was STILL winnable. Spare me your "analysis".

Dude, you didnt watch the game (which seems like the norm for you as you only seem to watch the Numbers Matrix style) so why bother with an analysis?

Whether Melo brought the situation upon himself or not, that doesnt change the fact that they are still reliant on him.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

They could not beat us at home AT FULL STRENGTH.

To pretend not having a frontline doesn't matter is ridiculous.

Good point. Our lack of height allowed Butler to have a career night since 6'4 Kidd was trying to guard him in the post...

We have height the problem is they are all injured. Good young players dont come cheap. No guarantee that going with the young dleagye big will be better than going with the savy vets. Heck they might not even see playing time

i watched the game sunday-- one that mattered to me. posted during the game thread and afterwards.

i have watched most of the games and have posted win or lose. because i have watched most of the games i know the team and understand its strengths and weaknesses.

i dont need to see games at this point to understand what happened.

my statistical analysis backs up what the eyes see-- did they not?

You're a real piece of work. I congratulate the team for taking the Bulls to OT and you ask me "what about the Knicks?" I repeatedly mention in the game thread how this team never quits and you ask me "what about the Knicks?" Grow the **** up.

Since regular season results tend to determine things around these neck of the woods, should we meet them in the playoffs we have no shot of getting past them.
