Not sure about being in his head or not, but us having Shumpert and J.R Smith to guard Wade on the perimeter? I love it.

How many times does players strip wade on his patented drives. Shumpert does it every game. He's from Chicago, he probably grew up watching Jordan and Wade and understands what wade is trying to do when he finishes.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

After seeing Camby and Sheed go out for as long as they have, Woodson might be worried that Martin will go the same route. If out of Camby/Sheed/Martin we have 2 relatively healthy players by the the time the playoffs come around, we will be in very good shape.

Great point. if they are winning without them while they practice and get into shape we're good

I just hope we're not showing our complete hand to the Heat during the season. There should be some things we should have in our back pocket to surprise them in the playoffs. I definitely am hoping we come out with the same drive and focus in the playoffs. Today's first half is a welcome change from the usual we've been seeing. Very happy to see this play.

Kidd is going to be a big part of it. He is the key today with his four 3 pointers.

Very good point about showing our hand. I often think this is the reason we don't break out the zone D more often. Saving it for playoffs perhaps.

I also think Novak is playing himself out of serious rotation minutes in the playoffs. Guy is useless.

Novak is useless because of no ball movement ... uh ... wait ... nevermind - that is debunked

Novak is useless because he is useless and he can't even shoot anymore

I know at times he looks useless but he's still shooting a high percentage. he just doesn't look as automatic when he's open as last season

He is way too slow and that won't change

He can't get open against these type of teams

Even worse he's not hitting WIDE OPEN SHOTS

and we are still winning. Could you imagine if we had any starting guards? ANY?

Lets stop acting as if J.R Smith isn't our #1 shooting guard. Only Felton/Melo average more minutes when compared to J.R Smith.

And J.R's balling thus far. 3/7 with 7 points to go along with 4 boards, 3 steals, 2 assists and ZERO turnovers.

Your 24/7 negativity is truthfully unreal.

Wilbon tried to jinx us during the half time show. Wheres the guy who usually does the counter jinx?
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

This could be a very pivotal game for us, if we can hold on, perhaps we start a run now...

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Either that or we just have to be happy knowing they'll turn it on when they play Miami

gotta beat Chicago and indy first

Who says?

What if we get Milwaukee as a #2/#7 matchup?

Also, who's to say Indy/Chicago doesn't meet up as a 3/6? As of right now Indy's 3 while Chicago's 5 (only .5 back of 6)...

The chances of our Knicks having to face BOTH Chicago and Indy during the first two rounds? Unlikely...

Agreed. I'd rather see fan voting in the dunk contest/3 point shoot out/skills challenge/etc. than the actual All Star Game.

am I the only one that's happy with JR and Shumpert?
yes, they have their flaws, so does everybody else, but they generaly bring a lot to the table and to each their own.
Shumpert's D (which isn't even "back yet") is very inspiring and makes a whole lot of difference for the Knicks, while JR is like the perfect 6th man who I wouldn't argue against starting, he's more than good enough

They both can't shoot. Outside of that, they are good players.
