Really?

Ya really he has played the most minutes moron lol

Please bless us with more of your brilliance, or wise one. Yes, people should not have been complaining about MDA not playing Lin this whole time. Of course not. And why not or wise one? Oh , its because he played him more than anyone this game. Oh, yes, thank you so much, it all finally makes sense. You contributions to the board are invaluable, how else would we know that "people" should not complain about Lin not getting playing time? You tell all those "people" !!!!
dude relax you sound like a girl on her period. Dude i wasn't insulting you just kidding around. Im thrilled we won. here we come baby

Listen man. Let me count ways in which you insulted me, try to follow along for a minute or two, it should be fun.

1) Your original statement lacked the basic logic and the basic concept of time. To dump this type of refuse onto unsuspecting listeners is insulting. Please think about what you are posting next time.

2) You called me a moron. Thats an insult. If you don't have the capacity to realize that, I don't know what to say.

3) You resorted to insults again when I showed you why your logic fails, sure I was a bit condescending, but don't hold that against me. People who are clueless bring out the worst in me. Especially if they insult me in the process.

4)"kidding around" implies humor, not calling people names. Do not try to pass your insults as failed humor attempts, again this is insulting.

ram youre a cool guy can we just squash this. the Knicks won tahst all that counts

Go Knicks !! What a game for Lin, its been a long time coming. Welcome Jeremy.

Now if MDA wants to increase the probability of the Knicks winning AND keeping his gotdamned job, he will START Jeremy Lin. Great win.

The Knicks just may be jelling a little bit more now.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I'm glad that someone else sees that too. It's like NY fans no longer understand player development. Just throw guys in there and see what happens. This is the NBA. You don't do that. Sometimes it can work, but this is a PG. He has to KNOW the offense and the players on the court. PG has to make all the big brain decisions and Lin did that. He's been getting extra work in practice on game days. He and Jordan went for that short D league stint to get some more run. The Knicks have been planning for this.

And if Lin had crashed and burned what would you have said in D'Antoni's defense? Because I'm sure you wouldn't have criticized him for it.

I don't understand your point. I'm only stating what actually took place and why a coach would want to ease a kid into the pressure cooker of NY Basketball. The team is struggling and fans want heads to roll. This kid is just trying to latch on in the NBA. He's never had any success in the league. Lin's career stats: 2.8 ppg and 1.6 asts.
As a coach you may see talent but that doesn't mean you don't do your job and make sure he's ready for the challenge of the job.

It's just BS to try and find fault with how MDA handled this kid. He did the same thing with Shawne last year. He's been pretty consistent in how he goes about making his moves. He admitted to rushing MOZ and maybe after that he decided to take it slow even if the kid looks great in practice.

You have mentioned several times about how the coaches worked with Lin and brought him a long slowely. I am not sure where your information is coming from. I don't have msg but there is a daily twitter feed after Knicks practice and I watch it but I haven't heard any of the things you speak of. My understanding was that Lin was brought up from the d-l to scrimmage.

I did some heavy drinking and missed the game completely.
Of all the games I could have missed! The effing league pass thing didn't work on the iPhone when I needs it most. Kept saying "error retreiving stream" - this led to even heavier drinking.

It is what it is. Go Giants!

My point is that its always someone else's fault for the team's poor performance, but when something goes right, anything, D'Antoni gets a large share of the credit in your book. You should go back and read some of your sweeping statements lately about this board's collective understanding of the game, and you're still at it.

Through all the losing streaks, the poor substitution patterns, the lack of motivational skills, going back to the same failed strategies again and again, its never about the coach. So when you start crowing about D'Antoni's secret plan to develop Lin (which only you seem to know about), it feels like yet another case of "heads I win, tails you lose".

Jordan Williams is going to be a very very solid NBA player--was impressed by him. We could use that type of player coming off the bench and insurance for Amare.

Clyde: "he has to tigthen his body up a little"

Al, after Jordan beat the Knicks down the court for an easy layup: "you have THAT guy beating you down the court?"

A healthy BD would hit those J's that Lin missed.

Lin has a nice shot and he is smart. He missed the 3's so what did he do? He started take close perimeter shots. Kid just gets it.
