You would think that with that late rally it would be exciting but it felt like they were toying with us, even when the game was down to 6. Still work to do.

hope they realize that toying with us will lead to a 2 possession game.

agreed we still have work to do.

They played like it was never in doubt and they are backing it up, its what the Knicks were acting and playing like up until they started to play the elite teams.

Tough game by our Knicks to stay tough but we were just outclassed. Too much firepower on that Slurpee Friend squad.
And LOL at those that said Ledouche and Wade couldn't coexist cuz they both need the ball (nixliva)

tough loss.

fields with probably his worst game as a knick.. that happens file this one away...

gallo heats up in the 4th. I hate when he waits until then, but we needed it, and he did a good job defensively on lebron.. maybe give him more touches.. didn't shoot that well early, but heck, gotta keep him involved..

chandler had a good game offensively, but he just can't guard wings.. wade clowned him, and bosh ate him up.. wings and finess bigs kill him it seems...

amare had a good game statistically, but he has to become more of a willing passer.. gallo and chandler were hitting shots in that 4th.. he forced a lot of shots.. He doesn't have to.. pass more and teams won't be able to ever double you.. this is how you make your team better amare..

Felton was off, but miami is a tough matchup for him it seems..not a bad game, but not a felton of 2010 game.

Shawne williams was a mess.

where was turiaf when we let Ru paul go off in that 3rd?

Dantoni had some odd substitution patterns..

TD: has to pass more.. too trigger happy..

Knicks didn't quit after going down big.. fought back and gave themselves a chance to win...

To the knicks, the heat just present a super difficult matchup problem for us, not unique, they have been beating everyone.
1. They play defense
2. They can play well in a half court.
3. They can play run and gun.
4. James
5. Wade
6. Bosh

We need to identify when the shots aren't falling and start attacking to the rim.
Gallo needs be more consistent. This whole, giving me one good quarter isn't good enough.

People have noted that he showed up in the fourth quarter but he needs to be in the rhythm of the offense for us to be successful. We got smacked hard by the blitz defense and it disoriented us to play bad ball. if someone is jacking up shots then I want it to be Gallo. But he doesn't call for the ball enough! You can't teach will and desire.

We Need a Backup PG immediately...we will beat most teams comfortably with just that upgrade..Then another Effort Big..Is Antonio Davis still playing..I kid.

They weren't toying..Wade hit a 3..Fields bricked shots. Game loss. I'd rather have a loss like this than last time we play'd when the likes of Arroyo and Chalmers was killing us. We shut down the others besides Z early.

I'm talking about the whole game. Lebron went a quarter without a shot attempt. The Knicks made their rally and the Heat hit their shots like it was no big deal. The Knicks aren't the only victims, the Heat have been on a tear, but it does show where the Knicks are vulnerable.

You would think Chandler would be a good matchup defensively on Lebron but seems Gallo plays him better. Just can't figure out why it takes a game and a half for D'Antoni to make adjustments. He needs to utilize his timeouts better. Coach performance was one step slow today it seems too.

I think Gallo has better lateral quickness than Chandler and he takes up more real estate. I'm not the first to point this out but D'Antoni coaches often like he is in Vegas. He counts on the Knicks to make their own runs and hopes its enough to get back in the game and puts the other stuff on the back burner at times.

Boy the Knicks could use a guy like Anthony. It was amazing the impact he had on the game hustling, playing d, rebounding on a team loaded with superstars.

at Wade and Lebron treating the 4th qtr like garbage time going 1 on 1 and throwing up circus shots.

Chris Bosh didnt get a single shot attempt in the 4th quarter.

Wade took some dumb shots, despite his heroics.

I think the Knicks players learned a bit from this one - kind of like how the Superbowl winning Giants team played a killer game against the undefeated Patriots at the end of the season - that they have no reason to be intimidated by the big bad 3 and the Miami Heat. We can hang with them - we just need to stick to the plan and not get bullied around.

Of course, we'll always be at a talent deficit against the Heat - the Heat have a head start against all other teams by virtue of having 2 of the top-3 players on their roster. But at least this season, the Heat are a little short on talent beyond their top-3, in many ways due to injuries. No doubt one of the strongest teams in the league right now, but they have a weakness.

We just can't be bullied by their journeymen - they can be overcome by a well-executed offense.

I think the game was decided but it was frustrating that Gallo didn't foul James for about 8 seconds and then Chandler finally had to commit the foul and foul out. Up to that point the Knicks still had some hope. Amare shooting a three out of a time out in the final minute of the game is getting a bit old also, especially if he misses and time hasn't run out.

When Turiaf was out there he did a good job on Bosh..I think AR would have been a flop against Bosh..He would have pump faked him to death..backed him down and shot that hook. Physical players play Bosh well..not 150 pound Power Forwards.

i think turiaf against bosh was much better and put a stop to the nonsense of bosh backing down chandler and throwing up 3 easy hooks 5 feet out. as soon as turiaf put a body to him bosh started throwing up 20 footers like he usually does.

in defense of chandler he's not made to guard guys like 3 inches taller than him in the post.
