My body was there, but sometime around the second quarter my soul started flying above the stadium. It was great

BasketballJones needs to learn how to lighten up.

Well, I'm tired of these haters who become quivering piles of jelly over just one more loss.

BlueSeats says:

I respect you basketball jones but I don't know how you put up with all these fake fans that are happy when the Knicks lose. These hatters can't fool me. We have too many fake fans on this blog. I don't know what team they really root for but it's not the Knicks.

Well I missed the game but I decided to see how it went by reading this thread. Sounds like the Knicks had a nice game, huh?

After watching your team completely quit you make a statement like this:

"It's just one loss. No matter how bad it's still just one loss."

Either you have no standards or lets face it, YOU AREN'T A FAN.

The Knicks soiled the uniform tonight. They dragged our name through the mud. And it wasn't because they played bad. It was because they quit. AGAIN!

That's true. It's just one (more) loss.

Yeah that's loss #10. So what do you do, just stop playing the games because you lost one game by a blowout? It doesn't have any more significance than any of the other 9 losses. The season goes on and you have to play the next game. You still demand that the team get back to work and correct the mistakes.

But if they lose tomorrow then you think loss #11 has great significance since you said it means Isiah should be fired.

Why question people if they think this embarrassment was quite significant?

No, I see what nixluva is saying. It's just one more loss. So what if it was a blow out? It doesn't matter if you lose by one point or 40. It's just one more loss.

There will be more losses, but there will also be more wins. You just go on and play the games. What else can you do?

I don't know about you, but I feel better now.

So effort doesn't matter in your book? Defense? Pride?

Just another loss? Perfect! Get used to it because you will use that phrase a lot with this inconsistent team.

Be ready because next game will be just another loss. And the 6 that follow....

That's because I stick with this team through thick and thin. I don't just go running off like a crybaby as soon as there's a little adversity.

Sheesh.

Ehmm, have you seen anyone running like a crybaby other than the one you see in your mirror? The fact that some people can accept the fact that this team sucks and that today's showing had more to do with our many deficiencies than just another loss doesn't mean they don't stick with their team. It just means they can see things clearly like they are.

That's okay Bip. I know this site is full of Haters. I'll just keep bringing the good news about the Knicks, regardless of the crybabies.

It's just one loss. Tomorrow is another game.
