I think if we can dump Francis and Marbury, we might be able to win some games with these kids.

don't forget to dump Curry
I'm not willing to dump Curry. He's still gonna be good.

i.... dont.... know....

Well I REALLY did want this game, so it's a tough one to take. I don't think the Knicks are far off, but there are some things that have to change. WE MUST find a way to get our guards to stay at home on the perimeter. It's just too easy for teams to hit 3's against us and it has gone on since last year. If it was just Steph then perhaps that would be easier to fix, but it's ALL OF THE KNICK GUARDS. We win this game easy if we don't allow Jones to just go off. It's a recurring theme.

STILL you have to admit that the team seems to be getting closer with each game. They're still making critical mistakes, which is VERY alarming, but they also are showing more hustle. They still didn't make some hustle plays when it counted. Q let Varejao sneek in and get an offensive rebound that the Knicks let hit the floor. They just stood there and no one made a move towards it, part of that was Isiah's fault for not having Lee in the game. The only big was Curry and you know he's not gonna get you that big defensive rebound when you need it. Steph made some lazy passes and there were too many long dribbles by JC and Nate instead of moving the ball. When we needed Steph to kind of take over he was up to the task, but I can't say that he won't ever do it this season. Basically it's just another BAD LOSS at HOME! We've GOT to win this next one. It's hard to say that there's a must win game this early in the yaer, but that Wiz game is basically just that. A MUST WIN!!! We just can't start 0-4 at home.

Questions:

1) Where was Lee in the 4th?
2) Why in God's name does Zeke think having 4 guards and Curry is a good lineup?
-- the preceding post was brought to you by the letter K and the number 22.

I saw a lot of negative-but there is one positive. Zeke is actually starting to look like a coach. If he puts a little Soul Glow in his hair and slicks it back while wearing these Knock-off Armanis, At least he'll sort of look like a coach who knows what he's doing.

This team gets close by being flukie. The Craw three pointer covers for the inept.

nate giveth and taketh. The energy is crazy, but so unrefined. they don't know how to win, take a lead, they just fold up.

Marbury can't pass. His assists on pick and rolls masks his weakness.

That lame pass to DLee who was tied up and he tells him to come to him? Crazy.

This game was winable, but in fact it was lost early 4th period.

The crazy go for broke can get you back in but it does not win. Or at least you need a prayer!

My first gamepicker this year I had them to win.

They tried, but they are losers. That starting lineup is killing us.

The knicks can be broken down into two camps...

Smart/ Dummies

Smart: Q, lee, nate(at times when he is under control) frye, balkman and Jeffries ( when healthy) malik rose..

Dummies: Francis, marbs, craw ( most of the time) curry..

You can't have more than two dummies on the court at one time... the knicks start 3 dummies to 2 smart guys.. that won't work.... just won't work.. we need a head on the court...

Didn't Larry Brown say last yr that the team didn't have a head out there?

Yeah but he was senile, so he had no idea what he was talking about.

I still find it funny that Larry pegged the problems of this franchise and they ran him out of town for it. Now watching this year, those problems are not only evident they are glaring and are dragging this franchise AND IT'S FANS down.

nate's scoring has been very consistent this season, for what it's worth after 8 games. one 8 point game, every other one between 13 and 19. he's fearless going to the basket. this game he forgot not to gamble for steals when he's guarding a hot shooter. hopefully he'll learn (like frye, i bet he's never going to rob himself of a block and pick up a T like that ever again). i guess that's my roundabout way of saying he's awesome but i'm not sure if he should be starting. so i guess i didn't really have a point. apologies. go nate.

I like to define the groups into Hustle guys/Dummies. Then it holds.
