Yeah, this is fun!

I mean for a team to actually have a lower FG% and win, that's unusual, but when you shoot 31-33 FT's, 50+ rebounds, 28 offensive rebounds, those were the keys to winning this one against a Good team like Dallas, even though I think they are over-rated.

we gave up a big lead, but we overcame, AD was huge tonight, marbs was great, craw was courageous and Curry and frye were good when they were in the game, why they sat so much is confusing, maybe because the mavs went small, but i still felt one of the guys should of been in. Anyway, guys are playing tough and confident, they feel they belong, they are playing like winners... Good win..

Brown thinks defensive matchup first when it comes to Curry and Frye. AD was playing Dirk really well tonight, I can't argue with him being out there. I didn't like JJames going in, Frye should have stayed out there instead of him in that case.

But Brown does a solid job playing matchup defense and this roster is deep enough that he can do it.

toronto right now, is a lagitimately good team. theyre better than the celtics and philly at least. hopefully they wont get in our way of a playoff run. You dont win 5 games in a row by coincidence.

The East is just horrible, the Raptors are not good.

one thing is for sure, If we lose to the hawks, this 5 game winning streak means nothing.

The Raptors played indiana, orlando, houston and atlanta twice during their win streak. But then again all those teams beat us except for houston who we havn't played against yet. That was all last year...this feels like a different team. I think if we played them like we are playing now, we could get a few wins.

We've won against the Suns, Cavs, Wizards, Sonics and now the mavs.
I dont know if that makes any difference but these teams are comparably better.

^Toronto had some blowouts though so they did take it to some of the easier teams...meanwhile look at how many points we have given up...and yes I know some of those were overtimes.

We do need to work on defense but I think the chemistry is much better and we have a shorter rotation so i think we're definatly on the right track and hopefully we'll work better defense in.

you can't just look at our point total to determine defense. for one thing, we've been playing some high octane teams. Cleveland is 6th in scoring, Washington 5th, Seattle 4th, Phoenix 1st, Dallas 12th. The pace of the game has been high with both teams getting lots of possessions and not too many turnovers. we've been playing extremely efficient offense and good situational defense. No, we don't look like the 04 Pistons, but we're doing a good job in big spots. There can be improvement. But Curry actually looks far more active, and Frye has been great on help defense (but still not so good on defensive rebounding).


edit: the real sign of when this team is VERY good will be when we can force the pace moreand work our advantage in the post with Curry, Frye and Mo. We went away from the interior in the second half and Dallas caught. But I think our youth wants to get out and run, Lee, Nate, Craw, Curry, Frye, even Marbury, and it leads to a quicker pace overall.
