Gay played like pure trash too. Everyone is a superstar versus the Knicks.

Speaks volumes about this team more than anything else....

No. It's because we were blowing teams out early on. So guys bring their "A" game against us. Same thing happens with Miami.

No it's how things have always been going back to the Sonny Weems/Mike Dunleavy/Hedo/Nick Young/Tyler Hansbrough/Marco Belli/Donte Greene/Ryan Anderson/Trevo Ariza/Gerald Henderson/Jennings/Monta/Kevin Love/Wall/Varejao and on and on and on...Players know this team will let you do whatever you want if the player commits.

Nugs, Rockets, GS, are all good but none are coming out of the West anytime soon. You can enjoy watching former Knicks light up a MDA lead D in the regular season but let's face facts these teams are gonna be cannon fodder come P.O time.

The Rockets have the youngest, lowest paid team in the league (and cap space for another max contract FA). You can't possibly know what their ceiling is.

Be honest though, would it put you and TKF off if they signed Dwight? For me I'd struggle to route for any team with him on it.

Rockets because of trades are very thin on the bench and won't make it past the first round this year. They don't have to blow all the money on one max FA like Dwight who might have issues. Owner might want to go the way of OKC or Denver and perhaps sustain for a longer time. Since Melo came on 10 years ago Denver makes playoffs every year. OKC with harden trade gets young assets and draft picks. They can keep this going a while.

Robinson has not had a good rookie campaign but his upside is still in place.

Their future is bright and they have a very large window. Years.

I can't stand dwight at all...not sure how i would feel if the rockets signed him.. I will tell you this, as long as they won.. I would be ok... I know that when dwight is right, his teams can go far.. but if he hurts that teams chemistry, I will dedicate a blog to ripping that fool on a daily basis.. LOL

Ha ha, he is awful (attitude wise)- dont think I've seen a player so spectacularly fall from grace since Marbury ate Vaseline!

Rockets actually has a pretty deep bench. They traded away PPat, Morris, Aldrich and TD. 2 PFs, backup C that plays very limited and their backup PG.

PPat and Morris can be replaced by Montijunas, Terrence Jones and Robinson.
Aldrich just really does not play a lot. They replaced him by a D-League callup at C.
Beverley replaces TD which is really TD 2.0.

I think they will make it to the 2nd round depending on their 1st round matchup. If they face the Spurs then they are toast. Same with the Clippers. Everybody else they match up well.

during that interview at the allstar game on the bench, I was saying to myself, this guy is lost.. I think it was reggie miller who said, The lakers fans don't deserve this.. LOL... this guy thinks he is funny, or maybe even cute.. I find his behavior just disgusting... the sad thing is, when he is on, he can dominate games... not sure if we will see that again.. who knows....

Yeah - we should since our star is now playing PF

Gee Denver does not miss a beat last night - actually look much better. Iggy 14 points and 12 assists. We all know that he is the 3rd best player on that team.

Lawson
Faried
Iggy
Chandler (when healthy)
Gallo (when he is not 3-19)

It wouldn't turn me off but it wouldn't be my first choice as GM either.

They would be better defensively (obviously) but he may kill their flow - he is a half court type of center.

I think it may be the wrong move.

we don't have a star.... stars don't whine waiting by the bus like a little girl.. we have an overpaid loser... a hot head, a mental midget.. plain and simple.... we have another version of marbury, except I actually enjoyed watching marbury play at times..

really gallo can be the 10th best player on denver.. doesn't matter.. that is your focus... at least they are not stuck with a loser.. to me that is the knicks problem.... An overpaid loser.. so while you focus on who is 1st, 2nd,3rd or 4th on denver, you should be upset that we have the #1 playoff loser of this era...

i am not baiting, he wants to engage in this convo, I am not going to veil how I feel nalod... I will say it about any player I don't like, and I dislike carmelo more than any player in the history of sports.... at this point... maybe I have the myriad of obnoxious NY fans to thank for this, who knows.. there are certainly some good ny fans for sure, which is why I enjoy coming here, there are some good, honest and intelligent fans... but here and there you get the very same fans you try to avoid trying to engage you in this type of dialogue so, I won't hide how I feel.. I am very upfront...

I wills state how I feel and drop it.. the problem is.. most people who are so happy with this trade can't seem to let go of gallo, or lin, or chandler, or moz... they just can't.. check the threads.. there are plenty of examples.. this is called " other game threads" if you don't like people gushing about other teams and players, stay out.. If you don't like seeing beautiful half nude women, don't open the alba thread!
