Too bad we couldn't have gotten these runs when AJ was still in and he could have gotten the win.

AJ didn't pitch a great game (too many walks). Doesn't really matter who gets the W as long as its a Yankee

A couple of blowout losses and a couple of comeback wins. We must've been outscored by 20 runs in 4 games, but still come away with the split. I'll take it.

The team is 7-3 without Wang. I hope they're not thinking of giving him his next start.

Great comeback win today. No way I could've tolerated losing to Pavano.

I think I might give Wang 1 more shot in Fenway and if he fails in that game, then I start the damage control and replace him with Hughes. What do you guys think? We give him 1 more shot to right the ship? He's been really successful for us over the years and we might owe him that I think.

And risk losing 22-4 to the Red Sox this time? That I cannot stomach. No thanks.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I would find some reason to DL Wang. They need to figure out if there is something to fix. Where's Billy Connors?

So the Yankees have an off day so they will skip Wang's next start and don't have to send him down. Maybe he can work through his problems as a mop up guy without as much pressure on him. If not they really need to determine whether there is something physically wrong with him.

wow, just a random comment but anybody check Zach Greinke's stats this season? the guy's 3-0 w/a 0.00 ERA & 26K's in 20 IP... the Royals were smart to lock that kid up longterm... really would have loved to see him wearing pinstripes at some point.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Did you hear that that's what they're doing, or is that just what you want them to do? (I couldn't tell from your post.)

I'd rather he actually got some starts in the minors where he could work on whatever he's doing wrong while facing professional hitters. Maybe they're too worried that that would be insulting to him.

Yeah he had a serious case social anxiety disorder a couple years back. He has top flight stuff though.

they can't send him to the minors b/c he no longer has options. it would have to be with his consent and i don't see his agent agreeing to it, especially since he's a free agent after the season.

I've told TMS that many times.

TMS, I'm not trying to rag on you with that statement, but as I've said to you before, Greinke has an extreme case of social anxiety disorder - he would crumble under the pressure in NY.

Well that sucks. Maybe they can convince him that if he gets everything worked out in the minors, he'll have a better season and get a better contract anyway. I doubt the argument will work though.

with the way hughes and kennedy are pitching in AAA, there shouldn't even be a question -- either go to the minors or miss your next start, but he should not make his next turn.
