Pano's, How did you get there? Channing was a 7 foot center at age 22 was polished and had range. He morphed to the 4 as the league got more daring given his 3pt % was very good. Dadiet was a under developed 18 year old with range. Channing was 5th in ROY voting with a ready for NBA body. Dadiet was not. Other than shooting range, are you equating young French teens with the slightly effeminate image Frye gave us with his off the court color outfits how do you equate 6-8 shooting guard or Small forward position with 7 foot center/PF Channing Frye?

Effeminate? I don't see where you got that. No.
My correlation between the two players is not that deep. Just long lanky players with smooth strokes, good 3 pt shooters, not necessarily bangers, and medium to low motors.
I'm not sure what the relevance of the rest of what your saying is? Channing had a big role in his rookie year and Dadiet got scraps. Not sure where you bring ROY voting into this or their respective draft ages.

Panos, find the humor in the off season. not everyting is a confrontation to beat to death! Frye had some out there outfits and NY fans at the time did were quick to call out his "Softness" and make fun of his attire as "gay" or similar. French players are into fashion or like to demonstrate some personality in the way they present themselves. They "All" smoke cigerettes and drink wine all day also? Of course not!
So its tongue in cheek. Look at his fanny pack.

Since you made no effort to say why you thought an 18 year old french teen who got very few minutes vs a 22 year old 4 year college player dude who did really well and was 5th in ROY voting I just took a humourus stab at why. Lighten up my man!!!

Dadiet shot mechanics and release remind me of Steph Curry. Long way to go to see how accurate that shot will be but it looks pure.

He is a wing and we'll see how his body and then defense fill out.

Rokas: This is why he stayed with a 3 year deal in Europe. I hope it includes a guarantee. Here he'd have gotten a one year min with team option for year two with not playing time assured.
