Alvarado changed the game.

having a second ball handler was the antidote to all the ball pressure.

really interesting to see what happens in the next game. And it will be a huge point of emphasis in the offseason. We need another guy that can dribble through ball pressure. Westbrook/ Schroeder

The change up has been a key so many times. Going to the seemingly endless Brunson well is understood and even expected, but it's that expectation that opponents build their defensive plans around. Using two guys to spread the floor, giving Jose the opportunity, letting the team run and play to try and save the game...brilliant choices, amazing to watch.

I felt so bad for him when he blew the layup. . That could haunt a player for the rest of their lives. And then he goes and does his usual non-boxout BS. I was Soo pissed off at him for not boxing out

We are 3-1 against the Spurs, the refs and the whole NBA. Wow. I sometimes complain about the refs and the NBA, but on this series the fix has been so freaking obvious that it’s just sad for the sport.

But this team!!!! This team is special with the way they have pushed against the script and just battled and battled until the end. Many said they were about to or simply crying, I can definitely understand. This is really inspiring, considering how unfair the whistle has been.

What a team!!! What an amazing win!!!

If they keep this attitude, I hope they win nothing. I was truly pulling for them against OKC, but then they started copying them and now they have turned themselves into a very dirty team that it’s too easy to root against.

MVP talk aside, if there was one player whom I think is irreplaceable at this point it would have to be OG.

I cannot imagine any of this happening without him on the floor.

Jalen does legendary clutch stuff so he is irreplaceable in his own unique way, but OG is the glue that binds this team together.

I'm certain this team wouldn't be where they are now without OG. He's the difference between the Knicks being a good team and a team that can do great things.

When I look back on this team its essence to me will be defined by the presence of OG Anunoby.

I agree. They have stigmatized themselves by their actions. The one neanderthall who is impressed by their bully tactics is Shaq which comes as no surprise.

Wemby is an intelligent person and he's only 22 so he will grow up, but his joker-like smirk when Brunson bounced off the floor and confronted him exposed an inner quality that may be who he really is at this time.

Wemby has good reason to feel entitled, because he is. But character is shown not by how entitled you are, but by how much you show your entitlement.

Wemby is showing he thinks he can do anything he wants without consequence. The NBA has enabled this and Wemby is carrying his privilege poorly this series.

When the Knicks wrap this up in 5, I may loose interest in the NBA. I hate all the gambling partnershios the league has. The sport is clearly corrupt. Let's get this chip and I'll always watch the team but with so much less interest in the league. I grew up a Yankee fan and the MLBs and Yankees greed has turned me off and I haven't watched a baseball game in 5 years. There is life without sports.

I've been saying for years I want to win one more time this lifetime so I can let it go and move on.

This feeling has been building for about 5 years since every broadcast was spammed by that douchey guy in the FanDuel ads. The gambling issue is toxic and the sport is never coming back from the cliff it has gone over as a result.

Basketball was a brilliant invention. It is a sport capable of real wonder and beauty. But if being a fan of a team includes having to contend with hyper-capitalist agendas it no longer feels like what's at stake is wins and losses, but bottom lines.

I don't trust anything I watch on the court any longer and never expect quality officiating. It has sapped all of my confidence in the integrity of the league. It does not require NBA head office conspiracies for there to be corruption. In fact, that is the whole point: anyone can be corrupted and that's more dangerous than any mafia fantasies about Adam Silver (but, yeah, fck that guy too anyway). The real mafia is legalized gambling in sports. It requires no obvious collusion to corrupt everything it touches.

Every ref is under suspicion now as far as I'm concerned. It is too easy for dirty money to make an offer these guys can't refuse and there will never be any way to trace the laundered money that gets offered for their services.

How was it possible to call two fouls against KAT in the first minute of this game? HOW? The second one was not even remotely passable as a call.

Same thing Game 3, they took KAT out with 4 fouls early in the game.

First two games, KAT outplayed Wemby, so this was obvious manipulation to give the Spurs a chance to extend the series. Never seen anything more blatantly corrupt in my life.

So, yes, Fck the NBA. Please win this chip fellas so I can kiss off this mafia-enriched by-product of our dying civilization.

pa que lo sepa. And Jamaican and British. I was just irrestible to the chicks when I was young. I'm a real product of NYC Love NYC and live and die with the Knicks. I grew up playing handball and stick all in the playgrounds, cycling around, exploring the subway system to learn about the City. Spent time in Museums, parks, theatres, venues, friends apartments to learn about all the parts of the city and its culture. Played in fire hydrants, tasted girls of every flavor and color, shook every hand, from the projects of the South Bronx to a middle aged man with a mortgage and a family. Love NYC and live the Knicks !

Wouldn't say the team is dirty but they are bratty and obnoxious. They are young but the league is allowing Wemby to be Wembeed. Well who knows how this goes we all thought OKC would be a dynasty and now they are losing Hargenatein and Dort and maybe others. Who knows SA takes a step back next playoffs and Wemby is so tall wait until he suffers the inevitable injuries. No guarantee they will be a dynasty either. They are going to have to lock in Wemby, Castle, Harper in a few years, what are there draft and cap assets. OKC has draft assets to improve with major talent And other western teams too

The unsung hero to some degree tonight. He has been exactly what we need at various times since being traded to the Knicks, and no better example than tonight.

I have been a big critic of his (still am). Short in stature but big balls, big heart. No one said it during the game but when he boxed out wemby he tried a single leg take down on wemby (who flopped)

Took nads on Browns part and was a brilliant move. In game 3 spurs pressed everyone effectively including Hart and Bridges. In the past those guys were sufficient pressure valves but the spurs have 3 guys (4 if you include Bryant) who have size and can pressure the ball. Bringing in Jose helped a lot though it cost us in other ways. Fortunately spurs kept chucking 3 throwing their size advantage out the window for offensive rebounds.
