Spin-over of a different type. There has got to be a catchy name or it won't catch on!

Love was sitting like 3 rows deep, definitely wasn't gifted Knicks alumni tix. I saw him in the stands. It's actually funny watching celebs and others have to sit 2nd and 3rd row because the ticket is so hot right now. Looks like they also opened up a suite for B level celebs because I saw a bunch of images on socials of celebs sitting in the 200s level.

Love has always lived in NYC during the offseason.

Wait, were you at the game? Or just eagle eyes on the TV?

Isnt it mostly mental? Its either blowing the assignment or some stupid touch foul. Feels like when he is in the right place and focused he does a pretty fair job. Obviously gonna be tough to defend every guard laterally, but I feel like he has done some credible things when switching and not backtracking into drop in terms of stating in front.

His weight is fine. Look at his feet. They’re huge.

The simple and immediate change is he needs to pull his hands back. He will get beat from time to time but he should focus on consistent effort and avoid (truly) dumb fouls

In the future we need to develop a way to hide his weaknesses better. It’s unrealistic to think players will be flawless. Coaches need to leverage strengths and hide weaknesses. It can be done. See Denver. See Boston

Goal needs to be net positive. And if he’s killing the opponent on offense

Fwiw he has been effective on siakam

he's never going to be a good defender but he looks bigger than ever before, and that can't help his mobility, especially if he wants to play PF

She is terrific. Sometimes she talks so fast with so much technical stuff its overwhelming, but she is as good as anyone out there. I do think Rit Holtzman on the Knicks side is also excellent and probably a bit easier to follow!

So pick up Haliburton earlier, have OG guard Nembhard to try and neutralize the pick and roll, and leave KAT on Siakam where Siakam since Siakam feasts on size disadvantages and is more neutralized in a half court game. Mitch mobile enough to run with Turner and Nesmith not the kind of offensive player who is gonna exploit Brunson 1 on 1 as he's more of a catch and shoot guy.

Nesmith and Nembhard are good NBA players, but if they have to try and beat you one on one consistently, that is taking them out of their strengths.

Not for nothing but this in an incredibly good sign. You dont get playoff garbage time if you are not 100% over your meniscus injury.

And it was purrrddy

Yea but he actually did well on them last night I thought. Got to the line a few times, put back his own miss twice, had a dunk or 2. We kind of need him to take Nembhard down low who can’t guard him down there since Mikal won’t bully Haliburton. One of those guys needs to take advantage of the smaller guy on them and make them pay.

there were a couple of plays where he was lucky to recover the ball. But overall, it hasn't been a good play this series and we REALLY hurt ourselves in game 4 with unforced TO's. we gotta clean that up if we're gonna win game 6.

I saw him randomly in the background on TV at one point.

I agree his drives are an adventure. And turnovers are a killer against this team. But damn him and Mikal gotta take advantage of their matchups with their size. And we know Mikal is gonna fade away whether he has Shaq or Muggsy Bogues on him.

If he isn't stripped he simply just loses the ball -- it's quite fascinating for an NBA player.

Heard someone call him the most uncoordinated player in the NBA.

Almost like a Robot that has a mechanical glitch right in the middle of each layup attempt.

I don't know man - he looks awfully good and part of his game is his natural strength. I think we all see it - he is just undisciplined mentally and undisciplined at an ELITE level .

Right now he's avg. 25/12 on 52/42/80 splits.

He's had games of 35/12, 20/7, 24/15, 24/12 and 24/13 with those highly efficient shooting #s.

Last night he outscored and out rebounded the entire Pacer's frontline 24/13 to Turner/Siakim/Nesmith 23/10.

Kat played 36 minutes - the 3 Pacers played 74 minutes.

Outside of all the dumb fouls and decisions he's playing at an all-na level -- I'd say his weight is probably ok right now.

we need more from Mikal and OG for sure, OG is 2 for his last 14 from 3 the last two games.

Mikal is due a big game, he has so much more of an offensive game than he has shown.

Internet indicates he has a size 20 sneaker --- that's almost in Bob Lanier 22 stratosphere.

I dont think losing 10 lbs takes away his strength. and teams always have to respect his 3 which is why he is able to drive so much.

Scoring is never an issue with KAT. But he's listed at 248 and really looks more like 260 and that's just alot of weight and size to be running around with. especially playing PF.

Yielded a dozen more shots than they had. That’s our formula.

We can clean up our turnovers better (Josh hope you’re reading this) but the turnover delta was really because we truly forced more. (Feel a lot of ours are unforced lack of focus)

We didn’t shoot well from FT line. Which will improve

Stick our knitting on defense and get up on them, particularly Tyrese. No stupid fouls. Feed KAT often

Would like to see us opportuntically run more w Hart going coast to coast

We actually shot horrible from 3 outside of Brunson. The rest of the team was 4-22. So that bodes well as we should expect that to improve.

Yep - OG/Mikal were 1/10 and exclude Brunson rest of team shot 4/22 (18%) from 3.
