Keeping Kmart on the bench for the time being might end up being the right move. They're winning without him. After seeing Camby and Sheed go out for as long as they have, Woodson might be worried that Martin will go the same route. If out of Camby/Sheed/Martin we have 2 relatively healthy players by the the time the playoffs come around, we will be in very good shape.

I just hope we're not showing our complete hand to the Heat during the season. There should be some things we should have in our back pocket to surprise them in the playoffs. I definitely am hoping we come out with the same drive and focus in the playoffs. Today's first half is a welcome change from the usual we've been seeing. Very happy to see this play.

Kidd is going to be a big part of it. He is the key today with his four 3 pointers.

Very good point about showing our hand. I often think this is the reason we don't break out the zone D more often. Saving it for playoffs perhaps.

I also think Novak is playing himself out of serious rotation minutes in the playoffs. Guy is useless.

no because they are such a technically strong team that they will not foul often, just play strong d all the time, one of the greatest teams ever

14 point lead heading into the half?

It seems as if Miami has feared our Knicks team here in 2012-2013. They've played hesitant against our Knicks each and every game thus far.

Carmelo: 6/8, 24 points, 1 board, 2 assists and 0 turnovers.
LeBron:: 4/10, 10 points, 3 boards, 2 assists and 2 turnovers.

And that's the reason why we're in strong position heading into the 2nd half. Melo came to out perform LeBron on this night fellas.

But as a team? We just whopped these guys during the first half.

Knicks: 57.1%
Miami: 44.7%

Knicks: 17 rebounds.
Miami: 15 rebounds.

Knicks: 14 assists.
Miami: 12 assists.

Knicks: 7 steals.
Miami: 5 steals.

Knicks: 2 blocks.
Miami: 1 block.

Knicks: 9 turnovers.
Miami: 12 turnovers.

Knicks: 13/16 from the line (81.3%).
Miami: 7/10 from the line (70%).

I truthfully believe that we're built to eliminate/beat the Miami Heat. Just a much DEEPER team overall.

That's on Woodson. The man sucks at calling plays.

The shot can be worked on. Kidd's the ultimate example of that. Glad to see the intensity and movement there.

This could be a very pivotal game for us, if we can hold on, perhaps we start a run now...

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Either that or we just have to be happy knowing they'll turn it on when they play Miami

gotta beat Chicago and indy first

I want no part of Chicago in the playoffs

agreed.
I'd rather get any other team, just please let us avoid the Bulls.
not saying we don't have a chance, but we have a better chance against pretty much every other team (the Rockets aren't making the final)

Not sure about being in his head or not, but us having Shumpert and J.R Smith to guard Wade on the perimeter? I love it.

Novak is useless because of no ball movement ... uh ... wait ... nevermind - that is debunked

Novak is useless because he is useless and he can't even shoot anymore

It's funny because earlier in the year they always scored out of timeouts. Thought it was a strength of his.

So the knicks only play unselfish when they want to, I wish the playoffs were next week.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I know at times he looks useless but he's still shooting a high percentage. he just doesn't look as automatic when he's open as last season

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

I get that Lebron pregame Dunks are powerful but they do not seem special to me.

He'll be fine. The man is tough as nails. I don't think he's on his way to 50 though. As of right now? 24 points but with a 14 point lead? Expect us to SLOW THE GAME DOWN during the 4th quarter, especially if we're up double digits. Which is why I can't see him landing 50+, only because of the (current) situations.

He is way too slow and that won't change

He can't get open against these type of teams
