Paul wins MVP unless East wins, in which case thus far it should go to Melo...don't see the East winning this one though.

am i being a homer in saying that if lebron had passed to melo twice that instead of shooting and bricking or getting the shot blocked that we would have had a chance?

This is why I wish the Heat would face the Lakers or the Spurs in the finals not OKC or the Clips. Kobe vs Lebron baby. Kobe gets in Lebron's head and he reverts to 2011 Finals Lebron!

They might face the Spurs but the Lakers aren't making the playoffs. Kobe is such a competitor that in an individual match up where he has something to prove he will do it if he can. Lakers have too much drama, too many injuries, and are out coached every game they play.

but he is the only guy who can legitimately stop Lebron one on one if he's pissed off enough

Carmelo Anthony feasted last night. 8/14 from the field, 26 points, 12 boards, 3 assists and only 1 turnover. Melo not only led the East in both points but also led all players (both teams) in boards off the glass. It was fun to see our greatest Knick since Patrick Ewing perform amongst the very best. Although it's nothing new to Melo but damn did he show out last night. Wasn't even 100% healthy either.

There you are, our fair weather friend to remind us "melo is the greatest knick since patrick ewing" after a good game.

YOu don't stick around after loses or when "the greatest knick since patrick ewing" has a bad game. Usually "its laughable" to you when Melo does well but team loses and people talk about the game in the negative light.

Maybe you should start a "UlitmateMelo.com" site and moderate it.

He would have been MVP if the east won right? Wow, that would have been great! The greatest knick since Ewing bringing home the MVP trophy!
