Heat preparing to offer Joel Anthony in a sign&trade to Houston for Marcus Camby
Attain is sport legion a reliable source? I haven't seen anything from other guys on twitter confirming this.
Double checked and haven't seen anything else involving Joel Anthony so my bad on that one. But, Houston is open to doing a sign and trade and with Camby not open to taking the vet min, it will most likely be the only way for the Heat to acquire him.
This is probably how the Knicks would have to work it, either a sign and trade for Camby, or a sign and trade for Kidd. Personally, I think there are younger, equally as useful options available for the money though.
Greg Stiemsma
Ryan Hollins

Undrafted Guys: (I know most of yall hate this but it's worth taking a chance. Low risk, potential low reward, but what is there to lose?)
Drew Gordon
Kevin Jones
Henry Sims
totally agree, I love what Camby brings but I don't know if he can play at PF with Tyson Chandler because of their poor shooting, lack of offense, and the speed to play together.
He is a shot blocker and good defender regardless of his age. But there are other options that are younger that can play with Chandler.
I feel between Jeffries and Camby, they are both are expected to miss a good amount of games, we should choose between 1 of them.
I believe we have Jeffries early bird rights and I think giving him a contract like what Reggie Evans got for 5m for 3 years would give him some security that he has earned.
Camby is a weak side shot blocker, while if he can play with Camby, it will allow us to have a great presence together.
Tyson Chandler needs helps, without Iman, and a legit PF, that can rebound/block shots and spread the floor.
With Kidd, Tyson Chandler, possibly Camby/Pablo *36 year old Spaniard PG*, we should look to add some younglings that would be able to learn of these guys.
We are already investing money in these type of veterans already, why not bring in players that they could take under their wing, and help their development.
It would make sense to have players that can learn and have potential to develop, if we are already signing veterans that can mentor them to multi year deals.
I agree with everyone on your list, would like to add a couple of other options.
I think aside from Lin, we should also get a PG like
PG
Scott Machado
Tu Holloway
Jardine
SG/SF
Hollis Thompson
Alex Young
William Buford
SF/PF
John Shurna Stretch 3/4
Drew Gorden
PF/C
Henry Sims, I think he would be a great player to pick up with his length/agility to learn under Chandler/Camby
FAs - VET MIN possibles
Anthony Tolliver
Gaines
Delonte West
Gereld Green
More than Vet min FAs
Gary Neal
Danny Green
Nate Robinson - With Kidd, he no longer is a good penetration player, I think we need another guard that can penetrate, hit a 3point shot, and is capable of executing and use the picks of our Bigs like JJ Barea did with Dallas. Kidd can still space the floor with his improved 3point shot and has great passing ability. At his age and shape now, he is a 3rd option penetration player and we need another player that can break our opponents defense, outside of Lin. Nate Robinson will always be doubted, but he has improved much, I watched him in GS last year and I was very impressed with how much has has developed since and is in great shape.
