I've said it before, I'll say it again, the expectations for Odom would be too high here. And, we're forcing another "savior" situation.
So instead, management looks at what Odom could bring: passing, mid range game, ball movement, IQ at the 3/4 spots: and look for other ways to make that happen, even if you sacrafice a little bit.
He's a gamble any way you look at it. If he lands in NY, fine, but if not, fine. Adding him alone will not make or break the season and the potential of the club. That relies on the teamwork and leadership of the guys already on the club.
