It makes a HUGE difference when you're strong defensively up the middle. PG/C play strong d and you've got a chance to be a good defensive team. Team is definitely winning on it's defense.

So far this year teams on last game of bac2bac2bac had been 6-0, so this wasn't a gimme game. Plus Sixers are young and deep and had an easy game yesterday. Legit win in my book. Sixers were a bit tired but they would gladly have taken the win if Knicks didn't D up.

exactly they go hand and hand. Look at Chandler's crazy rebounding numbers during this win streak. Iman keeps his player in front of him allowing the bigs to rebound

yeah, this is key. toney did a MUCH better job keeping his man in front of him tonight, too. really contained louis williams - held him to 5pts. which is huge. i feel like louis is a knicks killer over the years.

Yeah I was very happy to see Toney playing good D like that. When he finally gets his game on track it'll be a big plus.

UGh bad offense by Dallas after a big stop, then they let Pierce hit a game tying 3!

Good win against a real good fundamental team. KNicks had the edge with no Hawes inside. He can be a problem. The D is starting to take shape.

They still need to figure out a way NOT to get STAT hooked up with quick PG's.

4 in a row! Finally.

That was insane! I think Melo score 4 straight buckets in a row on Iggy, after Iggy clapped in his face.

it's a pretty stupid idea to get melo pissed off. he tends to go off. insanely, chris singleton did the same thing in washington. that's just dumb. especially for a rookie.
