lol. dude, you are such a knicks apologist, i love it.

knicks got away with some off nights for amar'e and melo tonight. looked like melo was hurt and the rest of the team was settling for jumpers. 3 points total from the bench is not going to cut it.

I think he is top 3 in efficiency may be all the way at the top.

He was no.1 in the league last year in True Shooting % and will probably be again this year.

great game by chandler. his points total is a good indication of how the ball is moving as almost every FG and FT he gets is the result of a good pass. but he's a nice big target. and his rebounding and shot contests were huge tonight. tyson and shump have a huge positive effect on the D.

i think MDA should use toney as a SG next to Bibby right now. toney can't run the point and it's killing his confidence.

"Take my point guard, please"

The main problem is not simply confidence. Once fans turn on you in New York it is difficult, if not impossible, to get them back.

If this continues, a trade could be the best thing for both parties. But who would take him?

He might just be bad. Might be hard for u guys to cone to this conclusion but the guy is just not that talented. Plain and simple

I think Melo played well on defense as well. Amare was invisible..

Agree. The team looked a lot different when Shumpert is on the floor. I feel bad for Toney but Shump is a much better player.

Feilds shot is shot, and we get nothing from our bench....Douglas is injured, Harrelson isn't a scoring neither is Bill Walker....

Yeah I been thinking about that. No one on our bench has any confidence either.

Enter Boom Dizzle

He'll hlep but we still need to tighten up our bench. With Baron, I assume Shump will move to the off guard. The way Feilds and Douglas have been looking latley, they are not going to give us enough off the pine...

The fact that both Amare & Carmelo both scored over 20pts on off shooting nights is a testament to how these guys really command the attention of defenses.

Strong win, important win. Doesn't matter if it got a little bit ugly - we got it done in the end.

There have been a lot of low FG% games in the NBA thus far this season.

Toney Douglas is a good player, but he is streaky, and he isn't really a PG. Plus the guy is still playing hurt. When Baron comes back it might be a good idea for him to take some time off.

An even better indication: the guy throws his gigantic frame on the floor constantly for loose balls.

Overall they did do their job defensively. Sure they had some slip ups in particular late in the game but overall they did their job on D. Perhaps you don't remember that they used to give up 106 ppg! The Knicks are a much better offensive team than they showed tonight and on most nights the Knicks should play much better on offense than they did. That's not being an apologist that's just stating facts. I don't get you.

no, i agree. the defense is MUCH improved. especially tonight versus last week against this same team. melo and amar'e were off tonight and the refs called a weird game, but they pulled it out. knicks outshot the bobs 40-15 at the FT line, so maybe got some homecooking, but the defense looks good. iman and tyson change the feel of the entire team on defense. with iman in the game, tyson looks much better. they played well. hit the offensive boards. all in spite of amar'e and melo having tough nights.

Team is starting to gel. Our front line is just too big and imposing. We just Amare to get back to form and we will be rocking.

When Baron comes back I bet he starts off the bench, perhaps he and TD play at same time. And if he is back to 100% I wonder if Shump will come off the bench to provide that unit with firepower.

this team kind of needs an outside shooter. baron's 3pt shooting might be just as valuable as his passing and leadership.

come back soon, bdiddy.
