The lack of focus on defense is terrible. This isn't even a Mike D team. There is no crisp ball movement. This is bring the ball down, pass it and shoot it.

Offense is terrible. Defense has ADD. MESS.

well, talk about over-reacting

Mark Jackson > Mike D'Antoni
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Instead of Balkman, he should've put in JJ during Chandlers 4th foul. This would've been a different game.

The game changed when put in Balkman, and had Amari playing Center....When Golden ST. had a big lineup in, with Monte Ellis catching fire.

What a coach.....

why can't we just trade coaches. Pringles is perfect for the Warriors and Jackson seems destined for the Knicks

NOW YOU PUT IN JJ? When we are down 20? Great move Coach...LMAO

I agree. However, there will be a million reasons why this isn't the coach's fault in anyway. Knicks have the teflon coach. He needs a hof point guard that can free lance an offense and communicate to make up for his deficits in all areas except picking out his suit.

They might be good, but they aren't defensive dynamos

Our Stars were off from the field and line..Add to that none of our guards can penetrate at all. It happens sometimes. 2nd game of season.

You're right, I should just accept the fact the Knicks failed to take advantage of a team lacking size and their best player

I agree but at least some games you're like okay he scored 20 or he play'd decent defense..that's why he is in the league but tonight...Just plain horrendous on all cylinders. I can see him being a Mardy Collins type in terms of once he breaks ties with the Knicks he could be out the league.

Sure....get a HOF pg to cover up the real problems? please....A solid coach can turn a bunch of roll players into winners.

It's a combination of the team makeup, and the coaching staff, starting with the head coach.

Steve Nash would've had a hard time saving this game.....It was a total collapse. Which only points to one area....Coaching Staff /

i think this will definitely be the case. under no circumstances should this player be starting at PG for any NBA team. he has no grasp of the position. he's a decent backup and plays solid (though rarely smart) defense.

i will pray for the day that baron and iman are back. our guards are atrocious.

The Knicks front line (entire team) was off tonight and ya have to leave it at that!! Every team in the league will have bad nights for the first few weeks of the season.

Don't understand why Knicks offense is so 1 on 1. When your bigs go 1 on 1 and chuck up an outside shot, there is no one to offensive rebound. If you are going to do this in the half court, then you'd better run every chance you get, but the Knicks didn't run either. Maybe Bibby is too old to run.

Someone said earlier, great front court, possibly weakest back court. T d and Landry are bench players. They have no place in a starting line up. Shump is def missed tonight, heck we missed fish lips on the defense. Offense was basically ISo plays. Td and Landry lack court vision and can't pass or penetrate, so no ball movement.
