Most NBA players when they catch the rebound in the paint, they are going back up with it hard. Most times thats a bucket and/or a foul. Against Howard, it's a block. i watched the entire game too, didn't see where he went up against 4 guys. He drives, he was getting hacked. He is passing, I just don't see what everyone is looking for him to do. You can't cheer him when he makes the shots and big plays and then criticize him when he does the same thing and misses. What I saw, Melo taking it to the hoop hard, not getting calls. Was D'ed up pretty good and missed some jumpers. That's his game, he was off.

Who else besides him and stat were doing anything.

If you didn't see any 4 on ones what makes you think he is referring to a specific play? A little hyperbole on Nixluva's part. Not sure how you went from there to specific play. We were talking in generalities.

His zero rebounds didn't hurt us in the first half..others were rebounding.

On another note..Turiaf was playing Dwight Howard pretty well when he was out there..got a couple block shots. He should have got some time over Shawne Williams tonite.

Douglas is driving me nuts! He delivers in a game and disappears the rest of the week. Don't care if he has a few 20-30 pts. gane, i'd rather have a consistent contributor from the bench.

Fields has disappeared since the trade. Not bad in other parts of this game, bus as a SG, he needs to score.

We'll need size if we wish to win games like this one in the playoffs. This was more size and defense than anything else.
