Big win when you don't shoot well and keep the score close enough. Knicks were on the ropes about to go down but kept it close.

It was a very balanced attack with good ball movement and spacing.

I thought his was one of gallos important games thus far. He FELT IT! Reference of success is big for a young player. He came up big on the line and the late shots was pure clutch. Same for Fields. NOT BEING SCARED ON NATIONAL TV IN A BIG GAME!

Him and williams played lebron great. YOu don't stop him, but he never got going.

It was a big game for us. Heat losing is not big deal.

THis does not elevate our teams status around the league but for the guys that stepped up its a big game for their confidence.

Gallo was showing off his knicks jersey! He felt it!

The kid is a winner.

Add Felton's game management to that list. Felton did not force things last night. Ball movement is a great thing.

Raymond Felton needs to be more aggressive offensively when we play Miami. Mario Chalmers, Carlos Arroyo and Eddie House are terrible.

He was almost perfect last night. Your PG in this system cannot be overly aggressive. Nash ran it to perfection and he never forced anything for himself. Nash could probably get any shot he wants but he does not do it because he knows that as a PG you need to make sure you manage the game and get everybody involved. Going all Dinglebury on a game is not winning basketball.

When TD gave Felton a rest our offense stalled. TD held onto the ball too long and the ball was going nowhere. The offense was really flowing when Felton started looking for Gallo, Fields and Shawne. He did not just dump the ball to Amare for an iso.

Absolutely!! How can you not love this kid. He does not shy away from pressure. Gallo did it all. Offense he drove hard, found open teammates, ball mover, outside shot working during crunch time. Defense, dude is just plain smart. He uses his length very well and he has extremely quick feet coupled with great anticipation.

Fields is also a winner. He does everything that no one else wants to do and he does it well.

who are you?

I thought Gallo was on Mike Miller more and Williams defended Lebron the most? I DVRed the game.. only saw the 4th qtr. Looking forward to watching the whole game later this weekend.

At 6'10 and able defend smaller players very well Gallo is a critical piece to everything the Knicks do.

If Williams can develop a nice pull up jumper from 12-15 feet he will be really good. Guyy are challenging him to take it the paint and he's getting by them but doesnt seem to have a go-to move to score after he does. However as a bench player I love the energy on defense that Williams and Douglas bring.

Ive said it before and will keep saying it... this team just needs a little more size and some time to keep developing. Amare keeps reminding us about how young we are

Wow, this is a first for me: I agree with iSergio!

The defensive efforts of Gallo and Williams won this game. They were just outstanding. Albeit the refs let them maul LeDouche on more than one occasion, they still played about as good defense on him as can be played. Williams got some nice shots up, Gallo was cold most of the game from 3pt land, but got hot in time to put the game away.

Outstanding win, best of the season. Low scoring because we played D and kept it a half court game. We would have been slaughtered if we played a fast-paced run and gun game. Wade and Lebron are too good for that shyte. This win should be a model for us come playoff time.

Poor Chandler is really freaking about the trade stuff, he just is off. Legs not jumping, shot all aimed and shyte. Dude looks tweaked, and I don't blame him since he's probably a goner. Sucks but that's the way the ball bounces sometimes. He'll get paid, either way, just won't get to be part of the magic here once Melo comes.

That may be more true than you know. Didn't he have a run in with the cops in the offseason?

nah. i think the melo trade chatter is getting to wilson. he's been off since the nets pulled out of the melo deal, like he thinks the knicks/melo trade will happen and involve him now.

i think it affected gallo earlier in the season and it's affecting wilson now.

What a day for the Knicks yesterday...
Afer Amar'e was selected as an All-Star starter, repping the Knicks for the first time in 14 years, the Knicks D'ed up on the wretched Miami Heat and held them to under 90 points for the WIN!

That was a nice way to spend a snow day.
GO KNICKS!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

lBJ trying to post up, was hilarious...I watch the game a 2nd time, and he just did not seem comfortable at the PF position.

Gallo has really come along as a defensive player. It first became noticeable last season, but he seems to have continued to improve.

Whatever happened to the crab dribble? You'd think that would be an unstoppable move in the post.

Yep, Gallo keeps his feet moving all the time and his hands up, pressuring the ball.
