And no I didn't freakin hide during the losing streak!!! I already explained that I was on a business trip and it was a coincidence. It won't be the only time i'm in that situation. I was reading some of the posts in this thread and some of them are comin from the same dudes that have been hatin on the team all along. I know there are still some closet dudes on this forum that have been lurking and waiting for this to happen. B**TCHES!!!

You know what I have always respected your passion because we root for the same team. I always felt our only difference was in our opinion of the coach but this is taking it too far. I am pissed at the outcome of this game and I know it wasn't the coaches fault but I would have to dive off a building and hit my head not to recognize that D'Antoni needs to give his guys some rest. Chill out. You are about to go some place you don't want to go to.

We all know the rotation needs to be extended. I think Mike was looking to try and put his best out there for these 3 tough games. There's no reason to expect that we would win by playing guys like AR or Moz. The bench just hasn't been productive and we've been losing leads when we go to them. Tonight wasn't even really about the bench, our star was done and that is obviously a fatigue situation in addition to the Heats solid D. Sooner or later we knew they would gas. That's no reason to start kickin dirt on them and making jokes like some want to do. Since we haven't been losing they've had to bite their tongues, but right on schedule they come out tonight.
Well said. I don't think anyone is kicking dirt on this team and they are a team this year. I think you know I will always have issues with the coach.

Nah. C'mon. The Heat have a solid supporting cast. Not great, but solid. I don't care who your big three are, you don't win 11 in a row with scrubs. Give a little credit. Considering their cap situation, they put together a hell of a supporting cast, actually.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

We lost this game because we did not adjust when they kept collapsing on Amare. Need to move the ball and the open man. Needed to setup more plays for Gallo in the 2nd half and we also need the damn refs to call a foul when Gallo gets fouled. 2 times he went for a dunk and got hammered but no foul call.

Scrubs playing with superstars get elevated to good players. If your an NBA player and they get open looks guaranteed that they hit most of their shots.

Excellent point. We didn't adjust. They kept trying to force the same plays and the Heat were ready for it. OF course the refs didn't help either with their lack of calls. It's not a small thing either cuz with those no calls not only didn't we score or get to the line, but then they get easy transition baskets too and our confidence goes down.

This wasn't one of Felton's best games. He usually is a lot more involved and in control of the offense. He wasn't aggressive either. I'll give this team a pass in this one, but if they look like this again then there's reason for serious concern. The bench thing is another story.

No! They were just the better team.Much better on this night. We play no defense. This team will get us to the playoffs but that's it. Carmelo would not have been able to save us this game. Wade and LeCon were just awsome. Let us learn from this loss. We need defense and a big defensive Center.
We have to get better on defense. The Lakers will have a hard time with this team. Who in the East is going to take out Miami?

Tough loss..

Amare had a rough night.. missed FT's a lot of missed shots and no love from the refs

Great game by gallo, especially in the first half, on both sides of the ball.. kid is a baller.. 25 points

Chandler was great, outplayed bosh.. if not for a few prayer and ones from bosh, chandler handles him.. finishes with 17/10

watching lebron throw up those jump back, jakcass fadeaways is funny.. this guy is a clown.. but whatever..

Knicks have to adjust better to teams defending the pick and roll..

Does joel anthony every get called for fouls? he was whacking tonight, with complete immunity...

Gotta hit those FT's.. 13-23 for a 81% shooting team? wow

We need a center and a backup PG.. stat

well 5-6 from the 3pt land for Arroyo and Chalmers. That's tough to beat from anyone.

Felton had no lift in his drives to the rim and he didn't know when to go to plan b. No he didn't lose the game but the rest of the team got out of synch and the bad decision making got contagious. Was it all his fault? No, they all looked sloppy out there at times and it didn't help that there was little if any relief from the bench. Felton hasn't been as sharp lately, part of it might be that he is getting too many minutes. He is also supposed to have back issues. The Knicks need one more PG off the bench.

I think Boston, Orl, ATL and even the Knicks could beat them. They had a great game and have been on a roll, but they're not unbeatable IMO. I think they just caught us on a night when we didn't have it. During the regular season you get games like that. In the playoffs it's much different. Teams will have a chance to really game plan and adjust to what you're doing.

We can't beat Miami in a 7 game series with the roster we have right now. Please try to be a little realistic.

I had the fortune to watch this game in 3D. I almost want to buy a 3D TV now. It's really unreal how much more life-like the game looks.

We don't have the roster to win games if the games are called like this. They are letting the players hack each other at the rim with no foul calls. This highlights the need for some more interior players.

You can't rely on getting calls all the time to win games. This is just reality.

Rose is not the answer.

How tiring was it to watch 5 miami heat players surround Amare when he got the ball. If there was a time for a break the team down player this game was it Melo would have done damage in that setting.

EXCELLENT POINT! The announcers were focusing on Amar'e struggling, but didn't really notice that Felton wasn't having a great game. We can't win if those 2 aren't being dominant or at least playing well. The whole team seemed a bit off and the 1st sign was the missed FT's. We never miss like that as a team. I'm not gonna read too much into this loss in terms of not being able to match up. I think it was more just one of those nights where we didn't have it from our main two guys. The long minutes may have finally caught up to them or it's just a coincidence.

What will tell us is how they play tomorrow! If they snap back and win, then maybe it was just a bad night. But if Felton and Amar'e play bad again then I think we can say they finally hit the wall.

i think we had to expect to lose this game, but the way they were so limited in the 2nd half tells a bigger story... this is not a problem that adding 1 defensive C & a backup PG is going to fix... we need another reliable go to scorer in a bad way... gotta be able to make teams pay when they double & triple down on Amare... Gallo had a nice 1st half but even then the Heat still doubled down on Amare the entire 4th quarter & we were completely unable to make any type of run to get back into the game... that's when a guy like Melo really pays dividends because if you double down on Amare he makes you pay on every possession... the way Lebron was knocking down shots at will when he got hot is how Melo can take over a game as well, & the rest of the game he'll be getting to the FT line & getting his points throughout the course of the game... having a pair of 24+ ppg scorers on your team is a nightmare to match up against for any team, including the Heat.
