All the chips are in on the 2010 offseason. Lets hope for the best. If we can get two max guys, then we're on our way and if this trade goes down, thats what we are, in essence, being promised.
for me, this possible trade is all-in with no hope for a few years if it doesnt play out well. thats why i dont like it. current team stinks, yet still owns its own picks and will have space going fwd. they do this trade with whats rumored to be in it and dont get the real targets (and sign other max guys), they yield draft flexibility, cap space and this team is exactly where its been for the past 10 years: no draft picks, no cap room, no chance to survive -- make your time (zero wing ref, sorry).
