Giving Mardy Collins the reigns of the team would be like giving Isiah the reigns of a franchise.

djsu - i have every confidence Lee will get it together.

I have patience for him and Balkman

I have loads of patience for Jared Jeffries and Channing Frye because I have feeling they will bond quickly once they get right

I have patience for Eddy Curry because he's only 23 and lawd knows none of us had it together at 23

I even have patience for Steve Francis

I have a ton of patience for Mardy Collins to receive some on-the-job-training because he's 6'6 and we could use an intelligent 6'6 with the pill in his hands.

I'm through waiting on Marbury

Earl, I think Assist-TO ratio is big for this team, as many. We had 19 assists but 22 turnovers to go with that can't work. In games where we have 20+ assists I believe we are undefeated. I'll bet that we also had reasonable TO numbers as well.

TO's have been a plague on this team for far too long.

Curry is going to be a TO problem. we have to minimize everywhere else though. Lee's turnovers are unacceptable, 13 the last two games. he's been handling the ball more, but that's ridiculously high.

Totally agree.

Francis had 8 assists and 1 TO. Why not just start him and Jamal?

Jamal and Francis to start. Mardy and Nate off the bench.

have we forgotten so soon what Craw looks like running the point for us when he starts? he wasn't running the point in Minnie, that was fraudbury. he ran it in Denver, he ran it the last month of last season. he looked good. he has a lot of poise in the 4th. I thought you were loving him after Denver?

crzy - I like Jamal's handle

don't like his trigger finger

I like his hot streaks

don't like him forcing shots

like his crossover dribble

just think mardy will d-up better

with less ego

I agree, but I think Jamal will relax and pick his spots better if he's starting and playing consistent minutes. I want to see Mardy, but he's not ready to start, man.

I'd like to see Mardy get more minutes and gain some experience without the pressure of starting. Let's see what the kid can do with extended minutes. I don't claim to know, but I'd like to see. We're not going anywhere this way, so let's develop our home-grown talent.

He was a way better decision maker last year.

Elite - I love David Lee, loved him since he did the bare-chested dunk in high school to bring the house down... and he can marry my daughter... but six turnovers is not... I repeat... NOT awesome.

they're playing him in the high post and asking him to make point guard decisions with the ball. i'm not sure if he's ready to do that yet.

I think he is ready, but the knicks tend to stand around and lee is stuck with the ball.....

It's amazing the depths that Isiah has brought you that you're praying for a fringe NBA player to come save us.

Collins is a superstar that just hasnt gotten his chance. Jermaine Oneil was on the bench for 4 years and look at him now. Same with Collins.
