Do you guys consider brooklyn part of nyc, or is it cast out? Some rich chick asked me today where I grew up and told me brooklyn isn't *really* part of nyc. I was pissed.

Im pretty sure its one of the 5 buroughs. unless it sucedded to form its own city since I was last their

Alot of Brooklynites consider themselves their own city. Brooklyn and Queens considered themselves not part of the Manhattan and Bronx alignment.

Its definatly a part of NYC. If you think thats bad, listen to this:
Bloomburg, our mayor of all people, didn't know Queens was a part of Nyc for 5 weeks into the job.
