He is elite for a guard. That makes him great. But not an allstar. Should we be basing all star players by reboound first and foremost? If so there are others more deserving.
Durant, Curry and Harden, yeah, they get that legacy thing. Maybe a snub early and get one late in the career. Kyrie? Maxy? Booker? They got snubbed.

Listen, I underestimated Hart and I think you still are. He is not an All Star. That is determined. But I do not think it is fan bias that he was in the discussion. I think players like Derrick White put the super-role player position in the spotlight. Hart is triple-doubling it into another meaning. Put his height aside. Forget about it.

And let’s not use Sabonis as a reasoning. He is a good player that got left off. First replacement in my opinion. Probably got f—ed by the old men all star entitlement.

But let’s talk Jaylen Brown. Only stat Jaylen has on Josh is points per game. Lillard doesn’t really belong. Not saying Hart is better.

It’s true Hart didn’t make. And no one is really saying he got robbed or snubbed. But also not saying that he didn’t belong in the conversation. In the same sense that Derrick White is. He’s right there.

It’s worth keeping his name at the tip of people’s tongues.

Fair points. The glue guys are often deserving if the teams are winning.

There's a ton of player talent in the NBA. Plenty of guys with big numbers. For example, Dame has a rep and good counting numbers, but he's certainly past peak and isn't impacting wins the way he did. Should he be an all star? Is Josh doing more to impact wins? Objectively, Josh is. But are you really gonna expect Dame to not be an all start averaging around 25 a game with his career and rep?

Either way, I think Josh getting a fair amount of player votes show the way he is respected in the NBA right now. People know that he is a dog and does a ton for the Knicks. WHen he beats you to every loose ball, you absolutely notice that. When he's finishing and rebounding in traffic on you, you definitely notice that.

After this 4 game series against Memphis, Houston, Denver, LAL, the 2-3-4-5 seeds in the West, the Knicks won 3 out of 4, keeping them with the 5th best record in the league, and 1 back of Memphis for 4th, and still 2 back of Boston. Memphis has won 9 of their last 10, the one loss is.... to the Knicks.
