well if the trade is Q and a 2007 lottery protected #1 its a good deal. People around here undervalue KT because they are sick of watching him while the KNicks lose but he's a good player with good value. Q has had some back problems but he's a good talent and younger also.

I think we actually made a trade and didnt horribly overpay. Call the press and give Zeke a key to the city. Its the first trade since we got Camby and Spree where we werent totally hosed.

Good trade for both teams. Nobody got fleeced. We helped them, they helped us.

no one undervalues KT. The problem is the organization strapped itself by giving H20 $100 for 7yrs and not leaving any cap room to add a much needed star frontcourt player who isn't damaged goods like Dice was.

Of course, thats obvious. Zeke cannot hit a HR on individual trades. Give the guy time. He finally has tradeable assests in Penny and Tim. We will improve defensively. I am sure we will strengthen our frontcourt as well. Just give it time.

What Houston needs to do is take J train to Brooklyn get off at Marcy Ave. and scream out "Do you love me! Tell me how a brother could get a litta mo' lovin."
Two things could happen either 1) he gets some helpful criticism from the locals and gains insight into how he can come back to help the Knicks or 2)Someone gives him 'lovin' while screaming "Marcy! What? Marcy" ....
Either way, problem solve. Let us move on.

Everyone's treating the deal like it's done, especially the players. There's no way it gets cancelled now. I think it's only a matter of a day or so.

one of the articles, bergen country record or newsday made it seem like there was a big time delay and nothing was going to happen... sigh, I'm sure we'll know by draft day.

question, would people rather have:

Kurt Thomas and Danny Granger

or

Channing Frye and Quentin Richardson?

Says in the post today that the deal should be completed by Monday. It states that the problem is the insurance exemption for Q's back, but the chances of this killing the deal are minimal.

the poll isn't whether one team got the better of the other, it's who was helped more. i think we can mostly agree the knicks will be better off, but the suns will also be helped with KT more than another shooter. so both teams win; as long as the suns don't beat us in the finals over the next few seasons i don't care if it helps them more as long as we are better off in the process. the pick is pretty significant though, whoever gets the pick has a chance to make the deal a real winner.
