Whenever I start feeling good about the coaching of this team, they do something that makes no sense like that. It’s all a surprise with this team, who also seems to play uptight at home for some reason.

From what I’m seeing online it seems they went into this game intent on NOT switching anything with Brunson or KAT, resulting in lots of KAT drops and Celtics just bombing early 3s with no resistance. First two games Brunson and KAT held their own on the switch. Brunson made huge defensive plays switched on Brown last game down the stretch. And KAT got into foul trouble today anyway. Mind boggling “adjustment” from Thibs today to change the only thing that was actually working in Knicks favor.

Towns was just so bad on defense though. Sometimes you wonder if you can even have him out there

Not unexpected.

Game 4, must win - I don't expect them to lose game 5 at home after losing the first 2.

That was the worst possible outcome that could have happened. They have hope now and those first two games don't even matter anymore.

So angry and disappointed how we started this game. Played scared and weren't focused. That's on Thibs and JB. They didn't have us ready to play. Sloppy at both ends and no sense of urgency. I don't get why we went away from the switching on defense when it worked the first two games. KAT cannot play in drop coverage. He simply cannot do it!

Give Boston credit. They responded like the defending Champs they are. Pritchard was outstanding. So wished we had a guy like that on our bench.

I'm disgusted and angry! Thankfully I didn't go ahead and drop a grand to see this at the Garden. I feel so bad for the fans who went ahead and paid for tickets. Actually can we just play the rest of the series in Boston? Cause we have no homecourt advantage at MSG! We can't shoot, we get no calls and the opponent always just plays and shoots better. It's a make or miss league and if the Celtics shoot it like that, just give them another trophy now cause nobody can beat that.

Mitch Robinson needs to make at least 60 percent of his free throws. He such a bad free throw shooter and Mitch was fouled 12 times and made 4. He been in league 7 years at some point he got work free or let precious play.

I’m pissed but end of the day we just need to get 1 of these home games and even if we lose both we still got a chance in game 5 to make it right. Beating Boston today was always gonna be the toughest game to win IMO.

I hope you used that money on weed and Henny. Much better value and almost have during this game. I think this game made me relapse into my crippling porn addiction.

Joe Mouslla is idiot but Mitch Robinson is a bad free throw shooter who doesn’t work on his free throw. It’s time to take the training wheels off Mitch Robinson and actually work on the basics like free throw shooting.

27% shooting not good either.
Hart and OG also absent today.

We have played three games and we haven’t shown a competent offense in either of them. And today for some reason we decide to not execute the adjustment that had made us win two games after not being able to compete with Boston during the season. How does it make sense? I remain puzzled about this whole season. We start strong, showing a diverse and exciting offense while not playing defense. During that we have trouble beating elite teams. We finally start playing D but our offense is trash. And then today we said what about trying to win without either. Brave.

Still up to this day, this team remains an enigma.

Which says a lot, not about losing, but about how we did it, especially in the decisions we made.

I think there are videos of him working on free throws before the game.

I agree with you. This team has been in an identity crisis all year. But we haven’t shown a competent offense basically all playoffs and beyond.
