In older days teams would do that and on top of that coaches like Riley and Jackson would talk about this and announce they were compiling the evidence to put pressure on league office That hit on Grimes was brutal (5)(7)

![]() The Heat are playing 90s style basketball in 2020s and any time a team can execute a change in dynamic this effectively it makes it hard for teams to adapt. The Bucks didn't figure it out, and we are struggling. They are eating up shot clock, they are hustling for loose balls, asserting themselves physically and making the game ugly. We played well last night when we could increase the pace on them. However that's been really hard to do most of the series. What's been shocking is how often they have made TIMELY shots. Its been uncanny to some degree. If the Knicks make a mistake they pounce every time.
The other thing is they keep getting us in early foul trouble. We've had a handful of players taken out of the game. Josh Hart was our 2nd half lynchpin and made a massive difference in the Cavs series. They have focused on him and have gotten him frustrated and in foul trouble and he's gotten no rhythm. That Spo used a Hack a Mitch was brilliant. I'm glad Mitch actually made more than he missed, but quite honestly, that could have easilly gotten the Heat back in the game. |

Was one of the most outstanding grit/desire plays I've ever seen. I didn't think he'd get up, much less get back in a defensive stance and make that steal. |

![]() GREAT GAME! So happy we were able to live another day and didn't have the season end on our homecourt!
This game was all heart and pride. That start to the second quarter where we erased a 10 point deficit was huge! Cause that first quarter was a nightmare and it felt like it was just a continuation of game four. Miami was getting every rebound and we were just sleep walking. But that lineup to start the second saved the season - Grimes three, Obi dunk, RJ three, Brunson floater, RJ layup. How lucky are we to have Brunson? It only took us decades but we found our PG! This was one for the ages! Played all 48 minutes, 38 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, only 1 turnover and big shot after big shot! Having Brunson is the equivalent of having that special lady that takes care of all your needs and is actually fun to be with and you don't get bored of her! LOL So ****ing proud of Rob! FOUL THAT! Shooting under 30% from the line and the big man hits 4/6 telling Spoelstra and the cHeat to take their hack-a-Shaq bs and shove it! He also controlled the boards in that fourth quarter. Play of the game was Grimes getting that steal on Butler after bumping knees with of course, Bam 'who else am I going to injure' Adebayo. Also played all 48 minutes! A total warrior!!! Proud of Randle. Started off the game like he didn't give a damn. Maybe he took downers instead of uppers? But seriously that three to end of the first half which gave us he lead was huge. Randle played almost flawless offensively in the second half. I don't think he missed a shot! Loved that hustle putback to end the game too! But he's got to stop leaving Love wide open! He's not going to go 0/7 from three again! Another strong game by RJ! As mentioned, he was big in that second quarter to bring us back. He also played the best defense to date on Butler, even blocking him twice. He's also adapted to the zebras and got more calls. Hartenstein also gave us some nice minutes, including that huge putback dunk. Superman game by Brunson, strong games from Randle and RJ, outrebounded them 50 to 34 and hit 13/34 from three. This is how we can beat Miami. Not going to think much about game six just yet. Going to enjoy this one today! Great job protecting homecourt! At the very least, we put some doubt and a scare in Miami's heads cause all the pressure is on them now cause you know they do not want to come back to the Garden for a game seven! |

That's four players Bam has injured! Not sure if he's just clumsy, reckless or it's just bad luck on our part but four players in five games are four players in five games! Even if we lose this series, the experience our guys are now getting from this/from them cannot be understated. But at least for one more night - we get to celebrate! F*** Miami!
