This would indicate Knicks fan tv sources were legit- they said last night Knox looked good so far, and Thibs confirmed this todays after practice

There's been a loud portion of impatient fans that insert Knox in every trade scenario. Knox just turned 21, should be a senior in College and is about to play for his first legit. winning coach since he was drafted. Im rooting for the kid. big time...

If you watched his interview the other day, there's a maturity about him that wasn't present before. His responses were thoughtful and wasn't short responses. He seems comfortable so far this year. Confident.

Knox has the look of a legit wing player. 6'7.. 6'11 wingspan. One of his major issues last year was shot selection...Hopefully playing in a structured, disciplined system that will have him cutting and moving to the basket, running the floor and taking better ahots.

Knox is Keith Van Horn with a worse outside shot

We could have gotten both Mikal Bridges and Mitchell Robinson in that draft ugh

cannot say its taking a negative view of these moves. comments off the article:

Is it wrong to wonder if this all may be laying the groundwork for Calipari to make his way to the Knicks, ultimately. <snip>

Cal had a shot at the job if he wanted it. I don't see him leaving Kentucky for this roster. At least not now.

He isn’t returning to the nba until he gots caught paying players again

At one point, scouts had him rated higher than KAT.

From Projected Top Pick to Struggling Reserve: The Decline of Skal Labissiere

The high-release jump shot and Labissiere's length are the reasons he looks like such an intriguing prospect in a workout. That doesn't always translate to success in the league. One relevant example is Yi Jianlian, who went sixth in the 2007 NBA draft after famously looking like a stud in private workouts when he was posting up a chair.

Labissiere also looked good in the preseason when he wasn't facing a defense or stiff competition.

"I saw him early in the season [at practice], and he showed skill," a third scout said. "At the time, he looked like a very skilled post. You could put him out on the floor, he was hitting turnaround jumpers and blocking shots in the lane. He was showing decent activity, and they were throwing him the ball, but I'm not sure how much his teammates were pushing him or testing him. For the most part, they're pretty small, and I'm not sure he was really pushed until real competition came along

2021 is definitely better on an unrelated note but isn't as blockbuster is one thought

its terrible... who do you want from that list? The main guys are resigning. Lets say the Knicks have a good year, the youth progresses and the Knicks have a strong finish despite missing the playoffs. Who's coming? Who are you throwing big money at?

I'm going with Spencer Dinwiddie, JJ Reddick, Trevor Ariza! & Frank Kaminsky for Briggs!

Pickings are for sure slim, and like this year, we probably get pass over.

I know the media is knocking the Kentucky reclamation as some kind of negative. I think this is exactly why you bring in good player coaches and specifically Payne. You get these guys comfortable again, boost their confidence and they maybe create some value. Its a good time to try and reclaim a player that got passed over. Use that G-League team (if available) to build confidence.

You know I gonna spin wit it

At this point I am assuming they are doing the thing where if they sign a guy to a 10 day deal they can pay them more in the G-League than if they don’t.

Randle seems thoroughly miserable, hope it’s just that he doesn’t like doing press interviews

Yes he certainly does, which is not good for him. He is headed in a potential contract year and it’s in his best interest to put his best foot forward and have a terrific attitude. Looking miserable is not going to do him favors.

That's Randles personality on and off the court. He sounds like a rotational player, not a star or the best player on the team, and definitely not a Leader.

I think he's a solid player given the right role

Think how valuable he would be if AD and Lebron was in the starting line up with him, or Lillard and CJ...Westbrook and wall.

When he's your best player, your not that good of a team.

Randle isn't the most outgoing during interviews anyway I would say unless I completely misread him here. Plus under these weird circumstances I'd give everyone the benefit of the doubt

The Knicks waived Jacob Evans. I heard Steph Curry really liked him as a person, not a basketball player. Whose next, Iggy?

After waving Evans the Knicks sign Skal. I was looking at his highlights last year and he was able to put up several 20 point games. I think he is a keeper, a possible back up 4. If only the knick didnt sign Payton. I know he is probably the best point guard on the roster but im hoping DSJ or Frank to secure the starting point. Il be comfortable having Austin Rivers as the insurance point guard. Noel, mitch, spellman, Randle Obi-1 and skal to man the 4 and 5. Looking at this list it seems overloaded. Skal seems a promising prospect though.

To be clear: Skal signed to Exhibit 10 so more like GLeague

How does one "sound like a rotational player?" Just wondering!

LOL. 1248 hears what he wants to.
Randle says all the right things but his delivery is uncomfortable.
Hs body language is “fidgety”. You can hear the “Turnovers” in his voice?
