LOL.. no one seems to get that.... I don't see him doing that either..

Knicks are going to try to dump Amare if the Knicks continue to play well.

Guys know their role too.

I love Stat but the health issues kill the deal. If the Knicks can find a bad team to take him an get us some draft picks that would be ideal. I don't see it happening though, Amare is damaged goods. Hopefully he can come back and contribute, I am sure there is a role for him but I don't think he will consider a bench role.

Great that they dominated in an afternoon game. Those games always seem to trip the Knicks up.

Thanks. I don't get MSG though. I live in Pa and watch NBA League Pass. Oh well.

I have a friend/professional dog photographer who offered to take pics of and my gf with my dogs at the park for free. We had a good time and hopefully we'll get some nice pics.

It's refreshing to have smart players on the court finally. It's a very simple game. Melo and JR have a habit of forcing shots and don't realize they would rarely miss if they just continued to move the ball.

Kidd has mad some amazing passes and just stabilizes the game, as does Pablo. It's nice to see Kurt back, why he wasn't here when smile got the job is a mystery. Very encouraging on the defensive side of the ball. Melo in shape and giving maximum effort is long overdue. There is a reason he hasnt been a great player since he has been here and he's starting to turn the corner. In shape, hustling and leading its about time. We are going to be tough with all the perimeter defense with Kidd, Shumpert, Felton and Pablo.

If Woodsen can just allow Amare to own the second unit this team can really make some noise..

Melo does seem to be making the extra pass and to be fair, he has been playing great since Woody took over - consistently good.

The ball movement was pretty solid. Melo still should move the ball more, he held it a few times a bit too long especially in the post but he certainly is looking to move it more.

I didn't mind Melo's post ups. I think they were calculated and effective. As long as it's not actually breaking the offense, but is part of the offense and his teammates know where to go when he's going ISO or Posting up. Melo was 10-18 and took 9 free throws. That's a good offensive game.

He had an excellent and efficient games and we NEED those post ups because it causes double teams and mismatches every play. I just want him to move the ball out of it even faster as soon as the double team comes.

NOt only is his post ups are setting up players when he kicks it out but the way teams overload and focus their attention on him creates backside cuts to the basket. Players continually lose their man because they are so worried about giving help. This is where Kidd comes into play as a 2 guard with his IQ, vision, and ability to pass at different angles.

This O is not close to where it could be when everyone is back. Once Melo, who has been on of the league best at finishing as the roller on PnRs, become a better screener this O will take off even more. It really interesting because he is also one of the better PnR finishers as a ball handler too.

Melo played much better this game vs the first. He has the tendency to take horrible shots or chances to see how on he is, but today he was more consistent with his offense and team flow.

Good for the team to start off well. I'm still skeptical as we're somewhat abnormally hot from 3. I don't think this shooting is sustainable but I could prove to be wrong.

The other thing to note is what this team will be like when Amar'e comes back. I think after a month of playing this way it's going to be extremely hard to incorporate him into what we're doing. It will also change rotation and role position for several key players. Although Amar'e's return could help Pablo's play, he really needs a true PNR player.

I think he's better posting up then he is driving to the basket. I'm actually surprised by how often he gets blocked when driving.

He gets to the FT alot by driving to the hoop and he is pretty good at it. Can't agree with you there. He needs to drive more.

Our defense and ball movement is why we are winning games, the 3pt shots are y they have become blowouts.

The last paragraph could end up being a serious problem. The offense would have to run through Amare in the post.

He is better posting up because he has better vision this way of his teammates. He can find the open man or score on his own. When he drives he doesn't have the same vision.

True. However when he drives he gets to the FT line and it will keep the defense honest which will give him more room on his jumper. They are all important. He needs to just make sure that whatever the set is, he does not hold the ball too long and kill the flow.
