Watching these two great teams go at it I think its hard to miss IMO that unless Lin comes back like he was during the streak, we will need a playoff tested PG who still has game to be able to get by either of those teams, let alone the Heat.

I actually think Lin will be better next year. They'll play a little slower and more controlled and he'll be so much more confident. I can see big things from the Knicks if they can get Lin some back up and we can get a little more perimeter shooting and ball handling/penetration. We can't have only Lin as our penetration guard. You have to be able to consistently break teams down and get into the teeth of their defense.

If Lin can that's great, but I'm not willing to wait an entire season to find out. As far as getting into the teeth of the defense, Lin couldn't do that after his run because Jeremy didn't have the element of surprise anymore. Lin kept getting stuffed, and was coughing up the ball. It remains to be seen if he can replicate the success he had in february.

By the time the season ended Lin proved himself to be a good PG but not on the same level as the PGs we see playing now. We don't have a young team like the Thunder, we need more experience at the point to go with what we have now because time is not our friend.

Bibby helped get us the first playoff win in over a decade but neither him nor Davis is going to get us far and Lin can't do it alone.

Spurs/Thunder is a very fun game so far. Unfortunately I can't shake the thought that, "Man, the Knicks aren't close to this level."

Maybe next year.

I would love for the Knicks to get a guy like Jordan Farmar.

I disagree about OKC becoming Heat west. They drafted their stars and have built a team. Bosh, LBJ and Wade uniting in Miami was messed up. I don't care who wins this series. Both of these teams were built the right way and are well run. Its nice to see another former Knick doing well as a coach.

I hear what ya say & respect it

but Phluck OKC

I am a disgruntled Knick fan and do not want to see all them youth plus 1 30yr+++ Derek Fisher win squat yet when my Knicks aint
close to this. I appreciate ex knick Brooks good coach and the Sonics tradition, flipping team shoulda still been in Seattle

But I dont like young-only teams who may have went thru this and that but OKC aint pay enough dues to DJ

I want to see them go thru their hardships, this team too young too there too fast. What is everyone on OKC under 25 yrs old ?

GO SPURs

I was a Westbrook fan from OKC but his ass things SHOT first always before an assist

Durant is great but you shouldnt be able to win Championship titles on being jump shooting mluther flockers the way OKC is

SPURS is balanced and play the game the all facets. Its going to be a great series

But Want to see OKC go to next yr before they win it!

And if OKC gets by in this series Go on Lebron & Heat do your thing vs OKC!
Fluck the Youths too soon. Let em' wait!

Any reason why Serg Ibaka was on the bench the last quarter while SA converted what seemed to be a gazillion layups?...Scott Brooks spaced last playoffs as well..

Brooks was looking for Offense.

Spurs can win game #2 and put OKC back up against the wall

DJ Will like that alot man!

I wish the Knicks were close to the level of basketball that was played last night by the Spurs and Thunder. But they are that close on the "talking" department...

All he said was "C'mon Danny". Worse refs in sports. Stern really wants the Heat in the finals.

The Heat are unwatchable. The refs suck!
