Great win tonight for the Knicks. My too quick take on this is that Woodson might be a better coach for this team than I thought he was. He holds guys accountable on defense, isn't afraid to call the timeouts and play the bench for long stretches when he has too, and most importantly, he seems to be able to motivate Melo to play hard, which is something he's gonna have to do to be successful.

EXCELLENT WIN!!! LOVED THE EFFORT FROM THE BEGINNING!

Pacers come out focused on a vengeance and the Knicks stay close to them. In the second they dominate on both ends. A semi collapse in the third but kept the lead and in the 4th we closed the door. Lin was amazing. The whole team was solid. Melo with nice D on an off night.

yeah, i like how he gets on guys immediately after sloppy D or missed assignments. even got on lin a few times for bad offensive possessions which would have previously led to turnovers.

i like woodson a lot so far.

Good win, team is starting to click, you could see the chemistry growing.. JJ sure makes us a very good defense team

Don't know about others, but not me. As I said, he looked shaky on offense TONIGHT. If he was great, I would say it. But still, loved the defensive effort from him. Whats great is that he didn't exactly play like a "star", but this team doesn't need that, but to keep displaying their depth like tonight.

I loved how he got on Lin and Fields. He also sat STAT and Melo when they were hurting the team in the third.

Absolutely, Knicks took a trash-talking, 25-16 Pacers team (as of Friday) and embarassed them at home. Then followed up with a 14 point win in what should have been a statement game for Indy in their house.

It's been a few weeks, but I am PROUD of this team again.

Can we just stop trying to make this about MDA vs. Woody. It's not like Woody wasn't here and part of the losing too. Dude was with the team from day one. This is really about STAT and Melo finally giving a darn on D. Everyone else on the team has played hard on D, but those 2. The team hasn't gone on some kind of offense explosion. This is about our STARS finally joining the action on D. Do we think Woody wasn't telling the guys what to do on D when he was an Assistant? POINT BLANK MELO STOPPED SULKING WITH MDA GONE!!!

Great game. Had to watch it streaming because my twc sucks butt. Defense was awesome. Lin looked great.

MDAs leadership was not good. Clearly he lost the team, but it is still frustrating to realize how many games we might have won if Melo didn't dog it. He hustled tonight when his offense was off. I don't hate Melo, I actually want him to succeed. So far Woody's game management is light years beyond MDA
