Breen is lacking in the team spirit, maybe because he wants to seen as non-partisan because of the abc work.

But when I hear other announcers about our team, they are making jokes, every things a foul, ect about the knicks.

Indy is a top 10 defense.

I missed the second quarter but when I was watching he looked good. I didn't know his numbers were down. Maybe its due to the blowout and less minutes.

100 missed layups = 100 missed assists for Lin

This was STAT best defensive game of the year by far...His scoring wasn't needed..Great all around team game ...Amare look quick in his limited looks...The Front Line dominated...This is the way this team should have been playing all along..Defense!!!

This was a legit win. The Knicks wanted it more and came out with the supreme effort. If they can win tomorrow that would be a HUGE win and a message to the rest of the league that this team, which is kind of a sleeping giant, has awoken.

Woodson seems like he might be a good fit. Breen was saying that Mike Bibby said in Atlanta Woodson treated all of his players the same.

That was the biggest thing I hated about MDA. TD would do something and he would yell at him. Later on Melo does samething and he would say nothing.

Breen is such a Debbie-Downer....Its one thing to be unbiased, but he seems biased for the opposition all the time. Not to mention the Refs nver blow a call in his eyes.

I consider teams like Miami and Chicago to be elite. But you do have a point that they are one of the better defensive teams out there. No complaints here.

Melo said that MDA did say things to him but wouldn't do it in a demonstrative way in front of everyone. It's a different style but doesn't mean he just let things go. People like Toney Dungy never yell or embarrass guys, but they get their point across just the same.

As a long time Bucs fan I can tell you that this approach doesn't always work. Gruden came in and got us a ring in part because he got in people's faces. Dungy is a class act and I'm glad he was able to get a ring in Indy.

D'Antoni's reputation is that he is non confrontational. He didn't yell at his vets. Douglas got the brunt of a lot of his yelling.

Nix, are you talking about when Melo said D'Antoni told him to play his game because the Knicks couldn't win if he didn't?

Hope we can keep up the effort tomorrow. They are still a good team and will be looking to kill.
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Last game Woodson said nothing to anyone and tonight he decided to make a point. It's all good. That really isn't even close to a reason why this team is playing balls out right now. It's a combination of the usual coaching change bump, Woody doing some smart things with the team and the pressure and drama being relieved with MDA gone. The team is just playing with renewed energy and it's really about the Defense they've unleashed on teams. They clearly could've played with this kind of purpose and determination before and somewhat did during Linsanity. Now it's coming from STAT and Melo too.

Nah. Just that when MDA had some issues he'd talk to his guys one on one more so than in front of everyone. In terms of MDA yelling people are just blind, cuz he has yelled at just about every player when they mess up, it's just that they noticed TD more, because he was often guilty more often. lest we forget when they called a timeout for a last shot and TD promptly forgot the play as soon as they got on the court.
