Hmm. Lin looks overmatched by the ultra-aggressive Isaiah Thomas... sometimes it's match ups... sometimes it's just cuz you're not good enough.

i like Lin on the roster as a project. but he's not looking ready for prime time.

though novak did just bail him out to get him an assist.

Well i'm giving him a pass cuz i'm pretty sure he doesn't even know the names of all his teammates yet. It's hard to play with any confidence of sense of purpose when you don't know what's going on. Heck it takes PG's a month or more to figure out this offense as we've seen from just about every guard that's come here to play.

man, amar'e was a huge difference maker, tonight.

jk, but working him into the offense so it doesn't lose any of this flow is gonna be tough. as is amar'e replacing Jorts' 12 rebounds and ACTUAL DEFENSE.

amare needs to stop being a jump shooter and drive to the basket and he needs to start to box out. If he doesn't do that put Jorts in and maybe that will make him realize that he is getting outplayed by a rookie

Time to extend Jorts to a full pair of jeans. Happy New Years dudes!
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Jorts reminds me of a slightly taller Glen Big Baby Davis. Very active and skilled for big dude.

4-8 from 3 (even though one of them was a bank)
great help D - came all the way out (unlike amare)
great attitude
goes after every offensive rebound
moved the ball really well in the half court sets

Very Impressive!

Very good win. Although Sacramento isn't a good team the way we won is the way we should have won the golden state game

The Knicks closed out 2011 by administering a WHUPPIN' on the Sacramento Kings! Happy New Year! Go, KNICKS!!!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Hopefully Jorts minimizes the PT of Jared Jeffries! I am worried that the Knicks will play consistently better w/o Amare. Whether he likes it or not, his best position is probably center.
