HORRIBLE LOSS...All I ask is that they address the rebounding problem once and for all...I mean for Christ's sake man, IT'S WHY WE LOST THIS GAME..You just can't give up that many 2nd chance opportunities...Can't happen...If they think they're addressing the rebounding problem by adding Jared friggin' Jeffries they are dead wrong..He stinks..Stinks on ice...He ain't making up no rebounding disparity..They should've zeroed in on Jeff Adrien from the DL months ago, cut Mason Jr and made arrangements to get him..Slept on him and he went back to GS...I've been calling for FA C Dwayne Jones for months..He could help..Go get me Marcus Cousin...Get Earl Barron for Pete's sake -- what's the hold up with him?? Play Shelden Williams. Whatever, just identify and fix this problem please..SO FRUSTRATING..It's not even that hard a thing to fix..I just listed a handful of guys that could help and would cost NOTHING!! WTF???

We need a defensive rebounding center. Cleveland had 19 offensive rebounds tonight. That is pretty bad.

It's gonna take more time to get the defensive chemistry down, cuz there's no way we should let the Cav's get even 100 pts. I have to believe that they'll get better on D at some point during the rest of the season. I'm not gonna get nuts cuz even on offense we still look lost at times. Teams are gonna get up to play us now and the Knicks need to learn that too. It's a new ballgame now that we have Melo. They have to raise their intensity to match these teams.

MDA tried to get some more D in there by playing Balkman, what else can we do at this point. If he plays Brewer and we lose does it really mean that he doesn't care about D. Is it his fault that Melo kept drawing fouls trying to guard jamison? At some point the men on the court have to be responsible for what they do. The Cav's played harder for much of the game. It's not like they had some special Defense. just pure hustle.

Walsh needs to send Murphy some hookers to convince him to sign here. Him or Powe. We are in dire need of rebounding.

some of those calls on melo against jamison were terrible. Like they were battling for position, to me those were ticky tac calls. Those calls aren't called in the playoffs, just let them play.

The Cavs played their offense to perfection and they did it in a kind of out-of-control way, if that makes sense. The Knicks were always on their heels and reacted too late to the crazy movements from the Cavs. And when we finally made them miss, we gave up the rebound, they penetrated and we fouled.

I know we want defense but right now I think the realistic way to improve the team is to get two rebounding bigs (Murphy, Barron, D-Leaguer, Im calling you) and stop the madness in the lane.

Sorry to say I told you so....But I knew this trade will not fix any holes we had. We already have a closer in Amari....Without a defensive big and a defensive 2 guard, we will continue to loose these types of games.

This has nothing to do with practice... continues to put our players in bad situations on defense, with his matchups. He thinks these matchups works on offense, but if you have to work so hard on defense, because you have SGs guarding SF's....SF's guarding PF's, and PF's guarding Centers?

WTF is that....Whats the point in looking for a center, when all is going to do is put in the same sorry small lineup in crunch time, so we can be out matched on defense....And have tired legs on offense.

I get any other coach wouldv'e rotated Shelden Williams and Brewer in the game for some defense....And let Amari, Melo and Billups worry about offense....Whats so hard?

Also, JJ is not the answer....But he will help slightly, like during games like this. Sad day for Knicks fans and knick players...time to get a drink!!!!!!!

The "Welcome Home Party" hangover is over. While this team will get better offensively, its evident we need size, no matter where it comes from. Once we get that, we can expect good things. The Cavs exposed our lack of rebounding and height by humiliating us with +2o rebs. That cant happen again.

Look at the points we scored. Offense wasn't the problem.

The Thunder just lost big to ORL 11-98, u think being a new team has nothing to do with it?
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

They gave up 111 to Orlando. We gave up 115 to Cleveland.

penetration and having 2 guys always go for the block.... always an easy offensive rebound or a pass for an uncontested layup....

mda was smart in giving balkman some burn.... but he really should be putting in shelden williams....

We no longer have the 3 point personnel necessary to run the offense. What none of you get is that D'ANtoni actually is a good defensive coach. His strategy is to not let the other team score too much but the players always mess it up.

Sorry, those were clear fouls. Much clearer than the fourth quarter fouls on Billups.

We lost because we sucked, not because of the refs.
