Amare if forcing the issue and wants badly to be the man. His shooting percentage is dropping fast. This guy is suppose to be 55% from the floor. They need to get him closer to the basket and cut back on his jumpers.

Guys I know this is gonna sound crazy and far fetched but the Knicks can actually make use of Eddy Curry. I know everyone is down on him and so am I but as a Knicks fan I truely believe the Knicks can make use of Curry for the good. It is up to MDA to make good use of him and put everything behind him and start a fresh relationship with Curry. For the simple reason to avoid the double and triple teaming that Amare is getting. Moz isn't there yet and maybe year or two away before he make a bigger contribution. To rely on Eddy is asking a lot and something that won't work out anyways but just a thought.

As far as Rose, I don't know why people won't say it but he plays like Marbury. A scoring PG who wants to take over games. If you are a Rose fan sorry for the comparison. Scoring PGs are tough on team play even if they are getting assists at a high rate.

nah, there is no use for curry. these guys are sacraficing and playing hard.. they are playing with a purpose.. that just isn't in curry's DNA... Mozgov isn't scoring points, but I saw him block a shot and change about 5 other shots.. for me, that is worth more than the 18 points and 2 boards curry will give us on a great night for him...

We did choke away a nice lead against Portland at home. So there was legitimate reason for some to be down on the team.

Although, had we won that game abnd been 2-1 going into last night on TNT, i don't think it would've mattered to the commentators.

Those media guys are behind the times.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

With a name tag of evil you are probably further along on being chronically miserable person. Win is a win and we all should take it anyway you get them. The object of the game is to be better than your opponent on any given game. The Knicks we were better and that is all that counts.

i don't care how much they practice shooting 3's, they're not going to shoot 70% on a regular basis... we need to establish the inside game to have any consistent success in this league... u can't just live off the 3 pt shot.

of course you cant, but there will be nights like this and you take them and don't look back.. but what you have to like is the defense, the blocks, the way we challenged shots... the passing.. things we didn't do in the pass.. so even if we don't shoot 70% at least we are showing we can do other things to win games...

i agree about the shotblocking & better defense... i'm just making an honest observation about the game... there's always room for improvement... MDA's system is based off the pick & roll on most possessions & last night it wasn't clicking at all... my hope is that Ray & Amare can get on the same page for the next game & establish the inside game first... i think in the long run, that will benefit our shooters a lot more than a night like this where everyone was hot & couldn't miss... that won't happen on most nights... that's all i'm saying.

PresIke wrote:pretty interesting how upset folks are over winning a game that we led from practically from the start against one of the better teams in the east on the road. as if every win has to equal perfection. how many here predicted we even win this game?

of course we're not going to hit 2/3 of our 3 pointers (.667) but the shots were going down so the team was taking them.

i wasn't too pleased about the amar'e turnover situation, and i see more room for improvement in felton working with him, but ray did have 10 assists.

meanwhile td has been playing well since pre-season, and gallo at least showed up for a while.

from my point of view the team needs to build confidence in itself as much as it does in establishing style of play.

one interesting note, i didn't realize but not surprised based on what we are seeing, is that we led the nba in blocks coming into the game last night.

also, our defense, in general, is improved from last season. adjusted for pace we are currently 11th in the NBA in team defense.

http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/teamstats

who's upset over winning a game? i find it funny how anyone who makes an observation about a game that they watched & isn't doing cartwheels because of some legimitate concerns they have is labelled as a miserable person

you yourself have no problem pointing out your displeasure about the Amare turnover situation & Felton's chemistry working w/him... these are honest concerns & are worth discussion... doesn't mean you or anyone else is unhappy that we won last night... that's just retarded.

It's because he's white

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.
