Odom with 14 rebounds. Odom recognizes what it means to play at MSG like Kobe unlike Lebron.

Lost in the excitement of Kobe's brilliant game, was a fine 31 pt 14 rebound performance by Gasol.

126 pts allowed and an easy 61 for Kobe. I'm sure D'Antoni will tell you that it wasn't a problem with the defense, it was a problem with the offense for not scoring more.

lee played a horrible game and still managed 22 and 11 on 8-16. that's what a real player does.

Do you really think we have anybody remotely close to Kobe and Gasol?
Do you think a lot of teams in NBA will be able to stop them? Not too many did this year.
We compited well and this level is all we can ask from this group.
To beat elite teams we need a lot of luck.

Islesfan you really need to give it up. We don't even have a SG and who in the league can really stop Kobe if he's determined to take the game in his hands? The Great ones sense when their team doesn't have it and they step up and take games over. Sometimes they just decide to take a game in their hands from the start and when they do that it's hard to deal with. If Kobe is hitting his shots, there's not much anyone can do about that, so I really just have to chalk it up to a great player wanting to be great and winning the game for his team.

Sucks that BK's record is gone. But Kobe is the best in the world.

I love how Pau got 31-14 and no one cares.

Now we have to get ready for the 2nd best player in the world, Sideshow Bob, and a gunner PG that seems to love playing us.

A real player would have had an impact on the game.

That's as soft and meaningless a 22 and 11 as you'll ever see.
