btw, we really need to get the Marbury situation straightened out.

We seriously need a roster spot for a guard.

In case no one noticed...

Duhon - 45 minutes...and ALMOST HAD A TRIPLE DOUBLE:

15 points, 14 assists, 9 rbs, 1 stl, 4 to

even with inflated stats given his minutes played and d'antoni's system...

that's pretty wow

We took way too many threes especially when we weren't hitting them. Did AL take a free throw? Damn I really can't recall ever seeing him going to foul line since he been here. I think that needs to be fixed pronto

I think we need to start calling Chris Duhon "Iron Man". This poor guy's basically played all but like a minute and change in the last 2 games and almost had a triple double tonight.

Yeah, Duhon was something special (again) tonight. Is it too early to start calling him the New York Knicks best player?

No he's clearly their best player right now.

Nice effort tonight, guys. Feel proud of you, but until Walsh balances this roster even with D-Leaguers or whatever, it wont be much fun. Seven guys giving their all but predictably tiring at the end and losing is no fun. Its getting old.

Well, this was prety fun for me compared to previous seasons. I like watching the team develop, which you can see happening.

Guys like Duhon, Lee, Chandler (not tonight), Nate, Harrington make it interesting enough, plus seeing how D'Antoni coaches.

We are a work in progress.

It's like watching the kid that was a bad student start to mature and work on trying to grow with a teacher that has what it takes to reach out and provide the needed guidance.

I can take the losing, if we come out and play hard and show signs of growth.

I'm just glad this organization finally did what they are doing rather than just try to get strictly immediate gratification for win starved fans.

Im all for the future and growth, no discussion on that. Im glad we are finally rebuilding etc. etc.

BUT

Walsh has to work this roster out soon. I know he is handcuffed right now on the Marbury issue and on the Mobley situation, but as soon as next week he will probably have one or two roster spots to make something happen. Im not pleading for a savior nor for a keeper for 2010. Right now I just want a guy that can give a breather to Duhon consistently and a guy that can represent any kind of shot-blocking presence in the middle. Malik is also a trading option as his contract expires now and we sure can take a contract that expires next season.

Do a minor trade. Sign some guys from the D-League. But Walsh needs to give ammunition to D'Antoni. Its unfair for the seven guys out there.

No, its evident he is their MVP on every aspect. You can also call him a keeper if you want to.

No he's clearly their best player right now.

I mean, he has to be the guy Walsh plans on keeping going into the future, right? Like, if he can only keep one of Duhon/Lee/Nate it has to be Duhon, right? (assuming he continues this play over the course of his contract)

That's the coach's call. That is the frustrating thing about D'Antoni he wants them to take the three ball no matter what.

VDesai - forgot about Lee

Richardson played with too much ego and Chandler played like a rookie returning home for the first time

At this point Duhon has shot himself to the top....unless the Knicks acquire a young PG and want to bring on Nash in his twilight. I don't know what the plan is there, but Duhon is not exactly topping out right now. It seems every week he gets better at running the team. If he settles at this level, it would be very hard to move on...its not like there's a ton of PGs playing at this level.

Yeah, we're too reliant on the three and we have to find ways to get easier scores more often.

Also, I like Al but he's got to get to the line more often. He's too good not to.

Who knows at this point. Many things can happen in a year and a half, but he surely is making the situation interesting. The best thing would be to keep the three or at least two of the three.

You know, aside from that one airball, Jared Jeffries played really well the 2nd time he came into the game- on both ends of the floor.

Yeah, Jeffries was key to getting the lead we held in the second half, after falling behind and struggling to stop the Bulls at all.

David Lee coughed up a crucial rebound giving the Bulls another possession where Wilson made thee bad foul.

You talking about the one Gooden wrestled from him in the higher part o the lane?

No it was down low it hit him in the hands and he just dropped it, $10mil dollar player my ass.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
